Rank to start vs. NCST

Taylor Rank will be the starting RB against NCST. Davis and Maddox will also play, but because of Davis' injury Rank will get the start.

Maddox is fine, but has missed most of preseason camp with a shoulder injury and stomach virus. He will be in early, and is ready to go. Rank has just performed well in camp, and has earned the start. He is a hard nosed runner that doesn't drop the ball.

A bigger, faster, more athletic Ryan Brewer. I'm excited to see what Taylor can do with this opportunity. I'm sure we'll see a number of RB's out there Thursday...Rank, Davis, Maddox and possibly Eric Baker as well.

GT, I thought it was Davis that had the shoulder/stomach virus deal going on? Maddox, by what I've been reading/hearing, just hasn't impressed or been as consistent as Rank. :confused:

I meant Davis (sorry, had a brain toot!!). Maddox has been fumbling some in practice from what I read. I cannot wait to see what Rank can do.
