in track? I'm all for celebration and feeling good about your accomplishments but that was just low class all the way. He starts spreading his arms like "I'm the greatest and no one can touch me" with 20 meters left. He probably could've knocked off another tenth of a sec had he ran it full and kept his ego restrained.

The long legged beat can sure run. He slowed down to celebrate before the finish and still broke the record.
And yes it is low class.:thumbsdow

Low class? Give us a break mon. That was the greatest show I've ever seen in track and field. He is the greatest by far. He's Jamaican mon. "I was having fun," Bolt said. "That's just me _ I like to have fun." He didn't even care about the world record or the medal, he just wanted to win and be happy. Did you see him clowning around before even getting into the blocks while everyone else looked tense? Did you notice that he was next to last coming out of the blocks? Did you notice that one of his shoes was untied? I guess how freakin incredible of a human feat it was that he started celebrating and mouthed "how good am I" 20 meters before the end of a 100 meter race and was still about two feet ahead of the next closest runner in the freakin Olympics is totally lost on you. It ain't braggin when you can freakin back it up like that. You are right, he could have done it faster but it will be long a time before you see a run like that again my friend. Then again, he still has the 200 meters coming up.

Low class? He shattered a world record while jogging the last 20 meters. That was simply amazing. There is no one who even compares to that guy. Bolt is the fastest man in the world, no one healthy or otherwise is going to catch that guy. He broke a world record while taking a break. Amazing.

Celebrating----right or wrong---regardless--it was amazing
I just wished he hadn't let up just to see what his time could have been--his time probably would have been 9.59
That guy is freakishly fast

I don't see how you can say it's low class. It's the Olympics and he just blew away a world record and became the fastest man in the world. To do it in the fashion that he did is just incredible.

Celebrate after you cross the finish line, versus taunting the world 20 meters before you're finished, is all I'm saying. Am I arguing the accomplishment? Of course not!
