No suprise here. A good list IMO. I thought that LSU & UF would hold down the top 2 spots.
Kudos to all the other sec schools that made the list as well

#1 LSU
#2 Florida
#3 Ohio State
#4 Penn State
#5 Tennessee
#6 Oklahoma
#7 Oregon
#8 Wisconsin
#9 Virginia Tech
#10 Nebraska
#11 Southern Cal
#12 Texas
#13 Michigan (tell this to App. State)
#14 Texas A&M
#15 Notre Dame (certainly not a tough place to play last season)
#16 Georgia
#17 Florida State
#18 Alabama
#19 Auburn
#20 West Virginia
#21 Clemson
#22 Arkansas
#23 Colorado
#24 Boise State
#25 South Carolina

That means that 8 of the 12 SEC stadiums are featured (missing are Kentucky, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State).

I think the list is pretty good except I don't understand how playing at Boise State (and Colorado for that matter) with a capacity of 30K is tougher than playing at Williams Brice with a capacity of almost 81K. I also think that UGA needs to be higher

Yeah, top 6 I'm good with, but it gets awfully dicey after that! Georgia and Auburn are DEFINITELY way too low!! Boise and Colorado ahead of USCe?? Uhhhh, in a word, NO!!

I think Alabama should be a lot higher. As soon as the opposing team enters the stadium their IQ drops dramatically.:D

That pretty much sums up why that Louisiana beat writer is an idiot.

uga would be higher if they hadent lost some big games at home the past couple years

UGA should be higher anyway. No way is Nebraska, VT, Wisconsin & Oregon a tougher place to play than Sanford stadium.
I go by how loud the stadium gets and how rowdey the fans are. Those two factors alone make for an intimidating place to play. And if we are going by those factors, UGA should be in the top 10. Along with UT, UF, LSU, Auburn & Bama.

The Swamp was #1 in last year's game....the Auburn loss probably hurt us, though it's the only loss at home since Urban took over in Gainesville. So, I'm not sure why that would mean so much....

Its great to be on the list but we've lost like 10 home games in the last two seasons. That doesn't seem to be a "tough place to play". Hell, we're way better on the road lately than at home for whatever reason. We do have a pretty good all-time record at home though.

I wish our fans could wear our team colors to the extent that they do in that picture. That would be great.

Yeah, that would be great. Too many students with shirts and ties to go along with their shorts.

I regularly purchase NCAA and I love playing it however it is still just a video game and in many ways different from the real thing (duh). I wouldn't invest too much into stadium rankings and especially player ratings.

Wow, I didn't know that, makes me feel even better about that win.

One of the reasons I love this site so much is because of threads like this one. It's a daily reminder of just how much better SEC football is than all other conferences in nearly every single way.

I know I'm a homer but i bet its a lot harder to play in starkville with the cowbells going than on the blue turf any day and if you go by record they should never lose cause they play in the WAC.

I agree. I do have a question though... aren't artificial noise makers a violation of NCAA rules? Always wondered how they justify the cowbells.
