I know right. Forget domestic abuse or breast cancer, this is a woman's issue that really matters.

Since you're Australian, is Men at Work your favorite band of all-time?:D

The femmo's love their symbolic bullshit, that's really the only thing I can think of. What a waste of time though. I mean, how many women are there in roadside crews anyway? F*ck me dead.
Men at Work were a little before my time, so I can't make that claim. In fact there really aren't that many Aussie bands that I listen to. I'm unpatriotic in that regard.

Silver Chair and INXS are the only other two Aussie bands that I can think of.

How can you forget Midnight Oil and AC/DC?? Of course I'm joking about the former...., I think one of those guys in the first band went on to Aussie parliament though....

Oh yeah. I kind of forget that AC/DC is Australian. They behave like the quintessential American rock band.

Yeah, Peter Garret from Midnight Oil is now the Minister for the Environment (I think) for the new federal government. Apparently he hasn't been fabulous in that position.
Midnight Oil just had that one hit over here, didn't they?

whatever Australia lacks in musical exports, it compensates with a trade surplus of actors and actresses...

I read on wikipedia where an opposing politician mocked him in dance and wrote some different lyrics (for whatever they were arguing about that day) to the tune of one of their songs. Funny stuff, when musicians become politicians.
Hey, "crowded house" is part Aussie......

Tell me about it. Its the most liberal city and county in Georgia. Most "Good ole boy" Georgians who live out in the country in this state consider Atlanta and its surrounding suburbs to be Yankee territory. Pretty true actually.
