I'm hoping we do better than the Outback. If not, it's better than what we've had lately! :excl:

Those look like good projections to me. I think that if UGA or UF get a NCG bid, then the other team will be in the sugar bowl.
I can see us both going 11-1, the loser between us setteling for the Sugar bowl.

I'd be very pleased if we made as far up as the Outback Bowl. That means we'd be looking at an 8 or 9 win regular season at least. Not bad at all, considering everything. And it also seems pretty realistic.

I think the SEC definitely gets two BCS teams this year, just as we have the last two seasons.

An SEC East team basically always goes to the Outback Bowl, so I don't know why they'd take Alabama.

Agreed, but whoever wins our conference better have no more than 1 loss total. I really doubt another 2 loss SEC champion will make the big dance again this year.
I can see the winner of USC and tOSU going undefeated. I can also see the loser of that game only having 1 loss.
Add that to an OU team that could be 12-0 or 11-1. See what I mean?
Personally, UGA's schedule would favor them if they won the SEC with only one loss. It would be hard not to put them in.
Depending on how well Miami & FSU do this season...UF's SOS might look pretty tough as well.

i dont agree with a lot of those predictions....it just looks like he made up what he wanted to see instead of probable games.....

Why not? You barners are dreaming of an SEC championship when Tubervilles only had one going into his 13th year as HC in the SEC.

He might have been trying to keep Tennessee from going to the Outback Bowl for a third year in a row.
But you're right, normally it goes to a SEC East team.

Hey the Outback is a great game. Tampa is a great city and you get to beat up on a Big 10 team.
Hogs will never get invited though for some reason.

The last West Div. team to go was Bama in 1996.

I can see South Carolina going this year IF they can get to 8-4.
