Ohio State plays @ USC in the non-conference slate of the schedule this year. Who wins? Since USC is not a SEC team, they may have a shot...

USC is going as far as Sanchez's arm can carry them. If he stays healthy, they could beat everyone on their schedule.

I was thinking the same thing. I was on rootzoo the other day and saw predictions like 72-34 and worse. I guess the Buckeyes have earned a rep thanks to their consecutive losses against top-tier teams in the BCS National Championship.

I think USC is like an SEC team defensively. They are fast and strong. Offensively they are run and gun. I think their defense stymies OSU like SEC teams have done the last two championships and who knows what their offense will do. Even if Sanchez has a bad day they always have a good running game. This year will be no exception. I think if the offense has a bad day they win by 10. If the offense rolls it will be like Illinois in the Rose Bowl. Remember, Illinois beat OSU last year and then were absolutely trounced on New Year's Day.

Yeah, Illinois didn't even make USC nervous in the Rose Bowl, but Ohio State played worse against Illinois than against LSU in the National Championship game.

Personally, I do not see USC winning by less than 10 in this game; I could see a 48-24 final.

USC by 17! OSU's offensive line hasn't been to the level of their 2001 National Championship team and it will show in this game.

Ohio State will get embarrassed, USC's linebacking core this year is rediculous. Ohio State will get overwhelmed early and get knocked out of any chance they have for a NC berth.

i repeat, USC lost to Stanford last year. it may be true that OSU has been overrated the last few years, but so have the Trojans.

USC did loose that game but we all know what happens when an underdog plays the big man in the conference, that was stanford's championship last year. Since its in cali I really dont think its gonna be pretty. I actually would almost prefer to see Ohio st in the championship game against an SEC team, I would feel more comfortable the SEC would win.
