Tiger Woods Season is Over....

Tiger will have surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. Apparently he had damaged his knee while running back in '07, but is only now having something done about it. Also has some stress fractures in the knee, which will heal with time off and rehab. The surgery will effectively end the season for him, and is the 3rd surgery on his left leg in 5 years, and apparently is the only thing that has been able to defeat Woods in golf.....

The man who's made millions for the PGA will sit at home and rehab.
While
Members of that same PGA are thrilled beyond belief, knowing now that have a chance to winning one of the two remaining major tournaments. Yeah, Tiger may receive get well wishes, but you can bet your azz. They hope to be laughing all the way to the bank while he's off.
What network brings the British Open better get John Daly on the phone. That's the best substitute they have going for them right now.

It's amazing how good Tiger is at just 32 years old. This is easily the best move for him to get things fixed now, but after the performance last weekend it just adds to his legacy as possibly the greatest of all-time.
