They obviously don't know much about Brad Lester because he wasn't out for most of the season due to injury.

You're right... it just seemed that way.

Good read. A few random thoughts come to mind as I observe the talent in this conference.
*LSU is still loaded with talent across the boards. Yeah, their QB situation is up in the air right now, but provided that whoever takes over doesn't choke big-time, he will still have the supporting cast to win around 8 or 9 games minimum. The Tigers are absolutely loaded at RB, WR, and O-line.
*South Carolina's defensive unit will knock some heads around this year. That's a very fearsome LB group they have especially now that Brinkley is back. Their secondary is also one of the best in the conference. The big boys of the SEC East (UGA, UF, and UT) better not overlook the Gamecocks. Yeah, they don't have a lot of offensive firepower, but their defense will keep them in some games they "shouldn't" be in.
*The fact that Will Muschamp left the Plains will not hurt Auburn's D as much as some might think. Tuberville has always been a defensive-minded coach and he has a good eye for assistants. Auburn's defensive front seven is still among the best in the conference, especially with the tandem of Coleman and Marks on the line, backed by Trey Blackmon.
*The SEC is returning to the days of being the nation's elite conference when it comes to RB's. I remember back in the late 90's when we had the likes of Deuce McCallister, Shaun Alexander, Travis Henry, etc. Aside from a few guys in the 2000's decade like Cadillac Williams and Darren McFadden, collectively, the conference hasn't been as dominant in the RB department as we used to be, but we are returning to that status again. Knowshon Moreno, Arian Foster, Keiland Williams, Terry Grant, Brad Lester, Anthony Dixon, etc...a lot of great names on that list.
