I have honestly never seen an attack on one team in my life. The definition of Alabama is high expectations. To come out and attack a bunch of Georgia fans because they are excited about the upcoming season is ludicrous. News flash CtrlAltDel, Georgia is pre-ranked either 1 or 2 in every single poll. They have a stud running back and a quarterback that has lead his team to some big wins. I would love to see your expectations if Alabama was pre-ranked in the top 5. I understand it has been a long time since then but try to go back and remember when they were.................

Ok stop trying to remember because I don't have a clue the last time when they were mentioned in NC talks. Don't criticize other teams because of your extreme jealousy. Get back to me in a few years when Alabama is back on top Ctrl. I guarantee you we will see arrogance from you and your fellow "brethren" that is easily tops what you think Georgia fans are saying now.

I too have my doubts in Georgia but not near the same insane reasoning you have. Georgia has the most talent and they are the best team in the SEC going into the 08 season. Mark Richt is a class act and knows how to coach a football team. I would love for him to coach my team. Look at his record over the past few years. He is near the top of the SEC. The only reason I see Georgia not getting it done is because of their schedule. Their schedule is as insane as you are. If Tennessee or Alabama had that schedule I would predict a 7-5 season for both of them.

Are Georgia fans supposed to be negative? I don't understand what you want them to say about their team. Please enlighten me Ctrl.

Congratulations on passing BamaPerry as the most hated Alabama fan on this site. Your thread is trash and uncalled for and this is coming from someone who is definitely not a Georgia fan.

Thanks for this KH but to say Georgia is the most talented team in the nation....HANDS DOWN might be a little too strong. It's yet to be proven if we are even the most talented team in the SEC East much less the nation. In fact, I think the Vols are very underrated this year. No matter what anyone says, there is still a lot of talent in Knoxville. UF can match us athlete for athlete at every position. We might be stronger at RB but they are much stronger at WR. In the West, there is serious talent in Red Stick and at AU. Bama also has some serious talent after this last recruiting class. Southern Cal, no matter what you might think of them is a talent magnet and is very deep as is OSU. There are a couple of others also in the Big 12.

Ok maybe not hands down but I still believe they have the most talent and a great coach. I am just a little pissed off at the previous thread that seemed to totally trash Georgia fans. I go to Athens at least once a month a I have met a lot of Georgia fans that I respect and that have class just like you. They have a reason to be excited about the upcoming season.

One correction however, we have at least 3 "stud running backs"

This a much more welcome and realistic assessment. There are quite a few strong teams out there, and UGA is certainly at the top of the list with the best of them. For what it's worth, I don't think most folks who have said they don't think UGA will make the NC game are saying it because of the talent or coaching; but because of the gauntlet known as probably the toughest SEC schedule this season. That's not to say it can't or won't happen, because UF had one of those kind of schedules in '06.

Even when we're talking about how the rankings services go about their business, folks have to realize that some services are ranking teams based on the talent and coaching; while other services are basing their rankings on where they think a team will end the year, after taking everything into consideration, including the schedule.

No doubt, on paper, UF and UGA look pretty stacked; but, as you pointed out, to overlook USC, especially, would be extremely foolish. They won't be without the best college players money can buy for the foreseeable future. Hell, our starting RB was the PAC 10 Freshman of the Year; and he had to leave USC to get playing time, because of the logjam of talent ahead of him. That's just crazy... when have you ever heard of a conference's best freshman having to transfer to another major university because the guys ahead of, and behind him were deemed even better?

Yep, no way is UGA the most anything BUT the Dawgs ain't exactly hurting either. :D

You look at most of these early Top 25's and it is pretty easy to see which teams are the most favored and upon further examination, a lot of them are quite deserving. Still, nobody in their right mind is going to state with absolution that so & so is #1 and everybody else is playing for #2.

As for this noob knocking bamaperry off the high chair....no way! If there is a anyone more of a homobammer than perry then somebody call Homeland Security!

Georgia fans,

Can we get KHVols some possitive feedback for being able to be realistic and objective (more rare on this site than it should be). You always look less guilty when someone else is defending you. I relise thos little green bars don't mean anything. Some of the biggest idiots on this site have a bunch of them, but we should still show thanks for being cool.

Thanks for answering a BS post for us, I appreciate the support.

First of all, genius, if you can read and understand words you will be able to determine that my post was not originally about chastising Georgia fans for high expectations.

It was about asking why anytime a 'Bama fan contributes to a thread, no matter what it may be about, some smug Richterizer has to flap their fat lips off about Saban or say something negative about 'Bama or her fans.

I could not care less about the expectations of Richtozoids, I just want you to zip those lips up and don't feel like it is your duty as Georgia fans to piss on any thought a 'Bama fan has or any contribution we make.

Here is an example:
--------------------------------------------------------------
AlabamaFan: I hope all teams in the SEC do well this year and everyone is happy with their seasons.

SomeRandomRichtFanBoy: Yeah, happy like Bama fans were last year when Sabear lost 6 games?
--------------------------------------------------------------

Because we have not been outstanding lately gives none of you the right to be generally pissy and dismissive towards us.

If everything an arrogant RichtFanBoy has to say to a 'Bama fan just has to be sarcastic and rude, screw off.

Awww go cry to your mother my gosh. You are completely out of line in just about everything ive read you post today. Some certain BAMA fans brought on bashing with their comments of an SEC W crown when they started predicting it, just becuase of one coach. You are bashing MARK RICHT. Honestly you have no Bama fans in here backing you up, I havent seen one. So basically your BRETHERN are letting you burn in the fire there moron.

Honestly if UGA sucks for the next 5 years then people will talk crap about them. Thats how it goes. Especially when you have people of your again BRETHERN bragging about past accomplishments and a new coach who lost to a team that no one feels was an acceptable loss. You are bringing on more crap talking just with your stupid remarks, and frankly its well deserved with your speaking about our coach. Why doesnt your coach write a book called Bama and 911. Pathetic. Ill defend my coach if you bash him.

Heres a thought... try not to make ridiculous posts and maybe other fans will respect your opinion and won't bash your coach.

Your reply with some RandomRichtFanBoy is extremely over exaggerated. I would love to see an example when that actually happens.

Not to be picky, but Moody isn't our starting running back yet. He was fourth on the depth all the way through the end of spring practice.

Honestly, I believe Florida is and will be the most talented team to strap up this year, and I have great respect for Georgia. Does that mean we'll be the best team? No, because the best team isn't always the team with the best players, but the team that plays true to it's definition. A team. However as far as raw talent goes? I don't believe there's anyone better. However I could just be being biased, but this is how I see it.
