So by his ranking, the Vols have the best Receivers right now. We're the only school with 2 in the top 10.
I stopped right here:
While Georgia is getting all the hype for the top spot in preseason polls, the Gators are quietly going about their business
 There is nothing quiet about having your spring game featured on ESPN. There is as much hype surrounding the Gators as any other team in CFB.

One thing I can promise you is this: Deonte Thompson would be an absolute steal at #24 for WRs in the SEC. He is going to be something special this year. I watched him all through practice and he has ridiculous speed and hands.

Getting Brandon Warren eligible would be huge for us.

The same could be said about Shay Hodge at #35. He's probably the best possession receiver in the SEC. He moves the chains on every catch.

Wow even some experts think Kodi is a good QB. 4th best in the conference is pretty good!

I just have to disagree with UGA's defense ranking. It is a defense that may have lost a few starters, but the players replacing them aren't even a full notch below them in talent and skill. I think that UGA's defensive prowess will become prevalent in this season.

And............Deonte Thompson is a RS-Freshman....not a sophomore. Meyer did nearly burn the RS later in the year when Percy and Bubba were hurt...but he didn't.

That's what I'm thinking. A lot of the rankings are based more on speculation rather than actual performance thus far.

They're fantasy rankings, what do you expect? Just like NFL fantasy rankings will have Darren McFadden probably listed before some starting running backs in the league.

How is Florida ranked above UGA on defense when they're both returning much of the same players and UF's was not very good last year, while UGA's was one of the best in the conference.

Not entirely sure, my guess is based on potential. We have a ton of talent from the last 3 recruiting classes that will line up on the defensive side of the ball and also three news defensive coaches. I think we'll be strong, but it's a little presumptuous at the moment to say we'll be better than Georgia. But again, this is a fantasy ranking so it's more of a projection at what this guy thinks than what might actually happen.
