From what I've read, Moreno and Richt weren't seeing eye-to-eye and thus Moreno was sent home. "Sent home" is vague but I would imagine it would have to be pretty serious to warrant anything more than getting him out of Athens for a while.

I will definitely have to see a source for this before I give it any credibility. considering how many rumors they're are from rival fans surrounding moreno!

There were some rumors floating around on the vent. The staff said it was not legal issues, not a problem with the NCAA, or grades.
A couple of posters (one that I believe knows CMR) said that Moreno had been told how great he is by to many people and has let it go to is head. He reportedly missed some meetings when CMR was out of the country and the staff wanted to send him home for the summer to let his grandmother straighten him out.
No one knows if that happened or if CMR has/is dealing with it himself.

Non-credible sites are stating he may have failed a 2nd drug test and is facing a possible 1-2 game suspension. IMO, who cares? I think his back-up may be as good or better. Plus, if we lose, I'd like to say it was Knowshon's fault, if we win, I'd like to say we beat Georgia with all their horses running.

I read it on a National Board as well...no details...except that it wasn't trouble with the law or academics. Who knows...but there seems to be a little smoke with this one. Although, whatever it is...it seems minor at best.

From what I've been told, there is no problem between Moreno and anyone else at UGA. It seems Moreno's grandmother was upset with him about his grades and felt he should have done better last quarter. She called Richt and asked Richt to sit him down and talk to him. He did not get the chance to do so till this week because Richt was out of the country and Moreno was on break.

Ok. Here is the copy and paste of the post in question:
National board thread has a claim that he failed a 2nd drug test (1st was apparently his RS year). If there's any legitimacy to this it will be "violation of team rules" and a 1-2 game suspension.
Me posting what I've read at other sites doesn't mean that I believe it or want it to be true. It was more speculation and different from others. That's the only reason I brought it up.

Dude, this is a Georgia thread. It concerned rumors about one of our players. Nobody would say what these rumors were so I made two phone calls and the above post is "what I was told." The above post what not put there as a point of argument with you. It was put there as a point of reference for Dogs' fans.

But you do see how hypocritical it is to chastize GamecockDieHard for posting hearsay he got from another board, and not posting links or quotes, when he qualified all of them by stating they were speculation and that they came from non-credible sites. Now you're posting more hearsay, without any links or quotations, and you're not even discrediting your source(s)......

I imagine that ESPN or any credible college football source would have this story out to the national media if it had any validty. Please South Carolina worry about your own crap problems and dont post anything about UGA unless its a credible fact. I might start a post about USC qbs throwing 7 interceptions in a spring game.....O wait that actually happened.
