I've been wondering ever since they hired Paul Johnson, exactly how they came to believe that the option-run offense was the way to beat us? It just doesn't make any sense to me. Any team in Division I football not named Navy or Army running the option is just weird to me. And from what I heard from the Jackets spring game, it wasn't pretty.
How is Johnson going to recruit high caliber players to a team that runs that offense?
How is Johnson going to make his offense work against us, when speed kills the option? Our defense is certainly among the fastest in college football...
How is Johnson going to keep his job longer than 2 seasons?
Tech suffered 7 straight losses to us under Gailey... I think they bought themselves a few more with the Johnson hire.
