Johnson/Smith shock the Celtics

Josh Smith and Joe Johnson scored the last 30 some points for the Hawks in shocking the Celtics tonight in Atlanta. I thought this would be an easy sweep, now the Hawks are a road win away from possibly shocking the world. I doubt it will happen, but it is definitely a hundred times more conceivable tonight than it was a week ago.

The Hawks are for real. They are playing some amazing ball! No one thought they would be in this position. I like the Celtics, but I have to applaud the surprising determination of the Hawks. They deserve it.

I thought this a couple of weeks ago, but now I am not so sure. In order to do so they will need to win some games on the road, and the eighth seeded Hawks made them look vulnerable both offensively and defensively last night. If they cannot stop Joe Johnson then LeBron or Chauncey Billups will shred them.

Give the guys some props. I was watching the end of that game last night in utter amazement!! I was CERTAIN that this was an EASY sweep for the Celts...good thing nobody called me to bet that the Hawks would win a couple! I would have lost my a$$!! How awesome would it be to see the Pistons and Celts gone in the first round?? :laugh:
