Before CSS came to Central AL, a channel called ACN showed delayed telecasts of Bama and Auburn games. They later renamed the network College Sports Southeast. Along with delayed telecasts, they would broadcast SEC games from the 80's and early 90's from TBS and JP, and they would show SEC and college football nostalgia like SEC previews from years past hosted by Bill Flemming. They also had a show called College Sports Central hosted by Doug Bell which discussed the current news of the SEC. Gene Stallings was a frequent guest on that show and he would give his predictions of the upcoming games. The channel started around 1997 and went off the air in 2001.

Does anyone here remember CS Southeast? If so, did you happen to record any old games or other shows from there? I really miss that channel, and I regret not taping those Bill Flemming previews and classic SEC games. If I had known back then that YouTube was coming, I would have tried to put a lot of that SEC nostalgia on there. Most of that will never be seen on tv again.
