Finishing up #2 and looking at the top of the 2008 polls has CBS lining up for Dawg broadcasts:
Chattanooga Times Free Press | CBS set to show a lot of Georgia (http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2008/apr/11/cbs-set-show-lot-georgia/)
This is good news! More night games!!!

this is great news seeing as how I will be sitting at home with new born twins instead of at the WLOCP. First game I will miss in 12 years or so.
I think the reason is worth it though. But I fully expect to be back next year. With two one year olds if I have to. Raise em right.....lol

That would be very good news to me if Dish Network would ever get the Chattanooga locals in HD. Maybe I'll get lucky before football season starts - just maybe...
I wish they were all on ESPN HD.

"Aresco said CBS likely will open its coverage schedule Sept. 13 with Georgia’s trip to South Carolina" Thats awesome that we finally get a CBS game in Columbia! Correct me if im wrong but this a first

Negative, I believe it was in 2001 you guys had a home game televised on CBS (it may have been ESPN). There was a lot of hooplah surrounding it, I forget what game it was.
The Tennessee-Georgia game will be part of a 3:30 and 8 p.m. doubleheader with LSU-Florida, but it has not been determined which game gets which time slot. CBS has a noon and 3:30 doubleheader on Nov. 29 that likely will be the Alabama-Auburn and Georgia-Georgia Tech games.
Oh, man... I sure hope we get the 8pm slot!!! I'm sure if we do a blackout, it would be for that game, man that would be awesome!
