A spin-off of Chuck Norris facts, these are pretty funny as well.
My favorite:
The original draft of The Lord of the Rings featured Patrick Willis instead of Frodo Baggins. It was only 5 pages long, as Patrick tackled Sauron's ass halfway through the first chapter.
