I think the dawgs have a good chance to win the NCG. they were robbed of goin to the NCG last year. we have most of our starters returning plus the number 7 recriuting class in the country. the dawgs will have the best 1-2 punch at running back with Knowshon Moreno and Caleb King.

Well, one thing is for sure... the fans of the other teams on here are going to get a lot of practice at flaming Georgia before the season begins...

Haven't you heard? Moreno's overrated

I wouldn't exactly say we were robbed last year. I just hate that beating Hawaii didn't actually mean anything to some observers.

Hawaii was a lot tougher than the dawgs made them look. That defense was incredible. Hawaii was used to matching their opponent's pace and UGA completely demolished that notion.

I just want to take this season one game at a time and worry about the NC chances once we make it into the SECCG.

Georgia Southern and Central Michigan – we should win both.

USC away – USC has NC State and Vandy. Vandy game is Thursday so USC has additional time to prepare. UGA I think wins but it will be a close game.

ASU away – USC will have faced N Arizona, Stanford, and UNLV prior to our game. They should be healthy and UGA will have a physical battle with USC the week prior. UGA needs this game, and I think they get it as long as injuries are not a problem.

Alabama at home. Alabama will have already played Clemson which will be tough, and at Arkansas the week prior to heading to Georgia. UGA wins a great game.

Tennessee at home – Georgia gets a week off prior to this game. Week off, at home, UGA wins.

Vandy at home – UGA should win this one, again barring any major injuries from the previous games.

LSU away – LSU will be coming home after being on the road at Florida and South Carolina. I believe that while LSU will be a great team again in 2008, they have more unknown than UGA. UGA will be focused and comes out with a win. A loss is very possible, as UGA should be 6-1 or 7-0 and on top of the rankings.

Florida at Jacksonville – Potentially the biggest game of the year for both schools, possibly the entire nation. History tells us the team that takes the week off prior wins most everytime. UF won in years 93,94,95, 96,98,99,00,01,02,03,05,and 06 taking the week off prior to the game while UGA had a game. UGA did hand UF in 97 a loss after they had a week off. 2004 UGA wins after UF had no week off, UGA had the week off prior in 07 and won . Both schools have games in the prior week this year, and both schools could be #1 and #2. Someone goes home with a loss, but he who is healthiest wins IMO.

Kentucky away – depending on how strong Kentucky is this year and our injury status post a very physical game will determine if UGA is MNC material.

Auburn away – DSOR will be another battle. Auburn will have played a tune up with Tennessee-Martin the week prior, and will have the week off after the UGA game. They should be very focused. Again, I think injury status will dictate this game.

GT at home – GT will be an improving team under a new coaching staff. UGA has a week of to prepare, and I believe Richt has his team ready to stretch it to 8 years straight over GT.

Injuries are part of the equation you can’t predict. MNC’s are won with skill and luck. If the luck part falls our way, I like our chances to have a great year. MNC? Man, we are just going to have to wait and see.
