Nice list. I would make a couple of changes

trade Greg Blue for Sean Jones
I would take either one of Randy McMichael, Ben Watson or Leonard Pope

Moreno is truly the BEST Running Back you've had in 10 years?
I'd wait til he's started an entire season before crowning him king of the decade...

98-2008? We're not talking 25 years here crusse. We've been loaded at tailback for so long, our RB's usually aren't dominant until their Junior or Senior season because they have to split carries with 2 other tailbacks. Moreno is the first one in a long time who was the go-to guy as a freshman, and rushed as successfully as he did.

You're just being a hater if you deny how awesome Moreno is. Most of the fans around here are mature enough to admit he's something special.

theres only been one back to carry the load for a season in the last 10 years and that was musa smith. so naturally those are the 2 listed

Agreed, we have either been loaded at RB or injuries have taken the starter out of the equation. Either one diminishes stats to one single RB over the majority of last 10 yrs.

His 1st year put him in some special company (Herschel Walker, Emmit Smith, Jamal Lewis, etc.) and I wouldnt say any of the other guys on that list where a flash in the pan.

I will definitely admit that he is good.
I'll also admit that he can be limited, as he was in Knoxville.

Give it some time. Let him develop over the years, then revisit it and say, "Ya know what? He didn't get injured in his sophomore year and never pan out. He didn't completely blow it in his junior year."

I remember thinking that Erik Ainge was, indeed, the next Peyton Manning. I remember thinking that with Erik and Brent Schaeffer that we would run ruffshod over the competition for 4 years.
Then injuries happened, and Schaeffer went crazy on a guy hitting on his girlfriend. This was split up, with Rick Clausen somehow getting in the mix too, and everything went to hell.
Allow at least a full year or 2 of starting before you say he's the best over the last 10 years.

Right now I think that Eric Berry is one of our best coverage men of the past 10 years, but I wouldn't dare put him up there as part of our All-Decade team right now.

That's just shortsighted

if ur the best then ur the best. his season was better then any back at uga in the last 10 years. these 10 years dont take into account what he might do the next 2-3 years so why would we wait to see what he is gonna do when putting together the all decade team for 98-07? as for ur comment about what he did in knoxville, is there a point to that? he can be limited? very insightful. can u please tell me one back in the history of the game that CANT be limited? u say it like its a knock on him when its really just a fact that at some point in time ur gonna have a game not up to par with ur avg.

Now if I were doing an All-Decade team for UT Basketball...
G - C.J. Watson
G - Chris Lofton
G - JaJuan Smith
F - Scooter McFadgon
F - Tyler Smith
C - Marcus Haislip
C - Vincent Yarbrough

Coach of the Decade - Bruce Pearl
Player of the Decade - Chris Lofton
Transfer of the Decade - Tyler Smith
Defensive Player of the Decade - JaJuan Smith

I agree that I'm going against what I just said, but over the last 10 years, would you really pick against these from the current roster?

Also he only got 13 carries in Knoxville. We got down early and Bobo got pass happy. Bad game all around. Oh and you are right Eric Berry is a freak.

So.............aren't you just making the point for Moreno?

Patrick Pass, Musa Smith, Michael Cooper, Ware/Lump/Brown? Oh, and you remember Verron Haynes, right?

I'll go with Moreno, too.
