I'm halfway through the first one now as I Tivo'd the first two.....

Only the first 2 parts were aired tonight....
Part 3 airs next Sunday....

watched both last nite..........I enjoyed them both, its interesting some of the arguments had while contemplating to Declare Independence
some actually wanted to be diplomatic and discuss such w/England

still set it by giving yourself the DVR version of a season pass because they will be replaying the episodes often..........no worry

you can copy from DVR/TiVo to VCR/DVR but I don't have a DVR player on the TV that I've TiVoed the show on..............sorry charlie or I'd help a brother out

Im sure it will be sold on DVD later on anyway. Im obsessed with Colonial America History and will definately buy it once it comes out OR I may just re-subscribe to HBO for a month or so.

man.....I just watched the 2nd episode and I gotta say everyone here regardless of political affiliation, especially because its election time, needs to watch this, great acting and the 2nd one, quite moving

We watched them last night, and were really imressed. I thought Paul Giamatti did an excellent job with his accent; which is normally nasal and annoying as hell. I've always liked Laura Linney, and she was good too. I had no idea that Dickinson from Pennsylvania and Rutledge from South Carolina were such chicken-shits, when it came to the idea of declaring independence. They practically make Rutledge out to be a little light in the shoes. David Morse makes a great George Washington; and Tom Wilkinson captures Franklin, in all his sarcastic and snide glory... he's hilarious.

who has been continuing to watch the John Adams series? and is it over?
Ive seen all of the episodes just havent heard that its over or not
