CBS is making it easier than ever for workers to watch the NCAA men's basketball tournament on office computers this year. But there's concern at small and midsized businesses that widespread viewing of live streaming video of games by employees will slow, or crash, computer networks.
Except for Tuesday night's play-in game, which is shown by ESPN, all 63 tournament games will be available online for the first time, without online blackouts of games airing on users' local CBS TV stations. First-round games annually are played during business hours on a Thursday and a Friday.

Jeff Withers, branch manager of Collins Electrical in Stockton, Calif., says he'll use a tool called SmartFilter to block employees from the online coverage. "It takes up too much bandwidth. It's not something they should be doing during work hours, anyway," Withers says. "Everybody's got a TiVo. If they want to record the games, they can."
