4 SEC teams have their coaches in the bottom 10. That is good to see that at least a third of the conference couldn't be happier with their coaches right now.

Nick Saban should be dead last. Alabama would owe him over $20 million to fire him:rolleyes:

I'm guessing by this Fulmer has to win a SEC crown to keep his job after this year.

You'd be wrong.

Only if it is not for cause. If Nick decides to leave on his own, he doesn't get a dime.

If UT wins the next two Fulmer Cups and/or suffers a repeat of '05, Ima betting he's history.

But hot seat implies "firing." He's not getting fired. Period.

Nick Saban isn't on the hot seat, yet Charlie Weatherbie is. At least we beat La-Monroe in something, right?!?!?

Not necessarily, forced to resign is another way programs get rid of guys. Saban's seat is hot because of Bama's reputation for impatience/fickleness. Hell, y'all fired Price for doing LESS than the Governor of NY did, roflmao!

We'll see if the fanbase accepts the reality that it will be 2010 before he puts a bonafied contender on the field. As for winning anything, I don't see LSU or Auburn regressing and the tide are not close to either as a program right now.

Bama isn't as impatient as most people think. Most actually wanted Shula around another year. They won't admit it now, but its the truth.

The thing with Price was:
A.) We had a new President who was committed to cleaning up the party image the school had
B.) We had just been put on NCAA probation. We didn't need another black eye
C.) He ran up a tab for his "lady" on the University's credit card.

8-4 is not regressing for Auburn?

You mean 9-4 for last season's wartigereaglemen don't ya? And no, especially if Florida is worthy of a Top 3 National ranking after posting the SAME record and LOSING TO AUBURN to boot.

MOST??!!??

I'm guessing by this Fulmer has to win a SEC crown to keep his job after this year. No, he just needs to avoid the sort of mental meltdowns that made the Florida and Alabama games so memorable.

It would be more accurate to say that most Bama fans were willing to give Shula another year if he got rid of certain under-performing assistants. But actively wanting another year? I don't think so.

The Bama game was a more of a mental meltdown game than the UF game.

Bama gave Shula 4 years at 26-24. Who else would be that patient?

Good news for the SEC! :)

Those rankings are a bit flaky! Randy Shannon is at #15 and he just completed his first season at Miami.

Shannon won't make it.
