Holy moly! I would have never dreamed he was a crook.....years ago I listened to the show regularly as my travels occurred when the show was on and I called in every now and then.

Thinking about this, I wonder if Max Howell is a victim as Scott was a frequent contributor back when Max was in the ATL, as well as doing a show there in nearby Ft. Walton/Destin. :ohmy:

I think it's hilarious!!! SST use to have a message board similar to this one...no where near as good, mind you...but it was a place a fan could go and discuss SEC football. The site was actually at it's peak...doing very well...all of the sudden "poof"...it was gone. One day McKinney was talking about who won a picks contest...the next the web-site has disappeared. McKinney had sold out to D1 sports and run...pissed a lot of folks off because there was no explanation. As far as the show...I use to listen frequently 10 years ago...but the show got so stupid with the "what's for dinner" crap...anyway...I wasn't shocked to hear that McKinney was a crook...hope they bust his arse.

I have to admit that I am shocked. I listened to SST every afternoon when Im home, and I usually listened to his morning show(which was not syndicated). I've called in on numerous occasions. It's a shame. His show was lacking every now and again but he came off as a decent guy, and I'm not one to judge, but this is disgraceful. I wonder if the show will find a new host or just be discontinued.
