When Gatoraus told me to join the site I didn't think much of it besides what ever I will probably just join and never post... It was also the 1st forum I ever joined and had no idea about these. I never thought I would be on here posting 25+ times a day! Anyway make a long story short I fell in love with forums that day.:wub:

What were your thoughts when you joined the site?

I read posts for a month or so before actually joining and posting myself. I thought it was a very good way to get info and viewpoints from other teams in the conference. Very diverse.

well I thought it was a good Idea so I registered as a UGA fan and never got an email to verify my account then I registered again as a UGA fan and never got an email, then I registered as a UF fan and got an email automatically then swithed it to a UGA fan. thats when I realized this board was ran by UF fans!

It felt like I was the meat (Kentucky) in a gangbang sandwich. I have a few fellow Wildcat posters on here...but 99.9% of the time I'm the one holding it down for the Big Blue. It's made my cajones swell to gargantuan proportions....it's a little uncomfortable to say the least.

haha...seriously though.... I knew about the UK boards....there are a ton of us online...but most UK fans stick to the UK boards because they love talking basketball so much. I figure I'll just force it on you guys. Plus I just love talking about the conference and the rivalries and all the BSing we do....good times.

I loved it and have been a long time lurker. Recently I have visited the site daily for info and insight. Now that time allows it I am trying to post as much as possible. I have always enjoyed the different characters and personalites on the board. It has been a great place for all thing SEC.

Previously, I did all my posting on Tidefans, which is a great board, but it's primarily Bama (LDO), and the moderators are pretty strict about what you can post.

I thought it would be a nice change of pace to hear from other SEC fans, particularly since I was free to tell them that they were full of shit if I felt like it. ;)

Once I learned that posted like Grady were the exception rather than the rule, I figured I'd stick around.

It was the offseason for football, basketball had just finished, and the baseball season was early, so there was very little activity at the time. I came here from another SEC sight. The other sight is a graveyard and it would take hours sometimes days before someone responded to your post. I was just amazed when I posted something here and someone would immediately reply with a response, a high five, or a prediction that Alabama was going all the way.
