A freind of mine living on campus called me this morning and said there is a rumor going around that Doc Foglesong is out at MSU.

Anyone else heard this?

He flys bi-planes in his spare time, sorta a cult figure around Starkville. The kids love him.

I mispelled his name . it is Doc Foglesong and he is the school president at MSU.

I don't know why yet , but it seems to be true. A Mod with the MSU scout site is confirming it now.

I hate to see him go. I think he did some good things for Us at MSU.

It is official..I just read in the Clarionledger online that he is and here is the link from our website at MSU.

Judging by the comments in the CL article, he seemed like a real winner. Only one side but a good bit of corroborating opinions.

He did some good things, but he wasn't the right fit for a college. I'm sure he was pressured to leave. You can't run a university like the military. He spent way too much money on stupid crap. The alumni nor the faculty really cared for him.

I agree 100% he was a good person but not college president material. I hope that MSU finds a good president that will lead us into the future both academically and athletically. Go Dawgs!!!
