Well guys, spring break is on us and after this afternoon, I probably won't be posting much for the next week or so. Even if I do happen to post, I probably won't be in the state of mind to carry on an intelligent conversation. Anyway, good luck to anyone else that may be going on spring break. Have fun, be safe and don't get in trouble. That goes for the football players of all our respective teams as well. Really looking forward to spring practice when we get back! :thumpsup:

Have fun, Shank! Spring Break came a long time ago for me, but I still enjoy going to the beach, playing volleyball and surfing. I'm going to try to also not get too wrapped up in off-season football practice, because last season I did that, and focused so much on the oncoming football season to arrive, that it made the year - and summertime - pass by too fast for me. I didn't like that....

I'm completely the opposite. The more I think about college football, the longer the summer seems to stretch out and the quicker the actual season goes by... :glare:

I can see that...actually, that makes more sense than my case. I guess I just didn't put more focus into the other summertime things I normally did, and therefore it passed me by. As much as I like football, I also am a big summertime/warm weather fan growing up so close to a beach, and it seemed like '07 went from March/April to August/September in about a week, for me..... :laugh:

man, I've been on spring break here all week and I haven't done squat. I've woken up, gone to work, came home and slept. It's the final day here and well...
it's supposed to snow like 6 inches. Some spring break huh?

So I just got into Siesta Key, the beach we're staying at and we're about to go purchase $300 worth of goodies. Weather is supposed to be good this week, too. :thumpsup:
I'm out of here too as of Tuesday night. Headed down to Panama City Beach for a week of debauchery. I'm really excited... I've been looking forward to spring break this year for some reason more than past years. I really need the vacation. Me and 7 friends will be livin large, getting wasted on the Beach (wearing plenty of sunscreen :D). If you guys are lucky, I'll come back with pics.

Spring break starts tomorrow afternoon for me, I'll be headin to the gulf coast Saturday until Wednesday. Pray that me and 10+ others don't go to jail.

Well, tonight promises to be much crazier than the last few nights. The first two nights were off the chain and the two nights after weren't as wild because it was just me and my friend Laura. Now we have 8 people and I'm already well underway!

Yeah, we went pretty insane too. To the point where I was actually told to stop drinking for the rest of the trip and we were kicked out of our hotel a day early by the girl whose name it was under. :laugh:

Shank - are you at Siesta Key just because it's closer to Gainesville? Surely you prefer that stretch of beaches from Orange Beach, AL to Panama City, FL. Now those are some pretty beaches!
My sister lives at Bradenton, so I have seen a lot of Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key, Lido Beach, etc. Siesta Key is probably the prettiest in that area, but it still doesn't compare to that stretch from Orange Beach to PC.

I live 15-20 minutes from Siesta.... and on Bradenton beach pretty much... Bradenton beach sucks, Longboat is cool and Lido is awesome...

Weather during the day up in PCB was actually real nice, mid to high 70's, reached 79 one day. At night it got a little cool, but it was pretty good. I mean, once you get buzzin, the weather don't really matter... if you know what I mean :lol:
