What's your take on "Superman"? I thought it looked more like he came up short. He says he did it on purpose though.

Dwight Howard's dunk was pretty cool I must say.

He may have come up short, he leaped a little too soon I think, but he made the dunk - that's what counts.

I'm 6 feet even and can dunk with one hand pretty easily. Two hands, I used to be able to back in my senior year of HS. I'd feel good about being able to do all sorts of crazy stuff with another 8 inches of height.

well now thats a different story............i'll make a safe bet and say you're not caucasian and if you say you are I'll have to believe that you have been innocently exxagerating your abilities cuz Im 6'4, have been hooping my whole life and havent seen that in person but once or twice

You would lose your bet. I am as caucasian as they come. I grew up in a not so great neighborhood and played street ball with the best my little city has to offer. Nothing great, but I have been surrounded by basketball my entire life. I started when I was 5 on learning how to do a basic layup.
When I played organized basketball for the first time. They told me my technique was totally wrong on everything. The fact was, I was far past all the fundamentals that I should have been learning at the time instead. I am not exaggerating by any means, I assure you.
In middle school and early high school, I lead my team with blocked shots, when I was 5' 10"/5' 11". I also played church league volleyball and was the "go-to-guy" when setting up spikes  I have no clue, but I do possess a strange ability to be able to "hop" higher than most whites.

man, black dudes must trip on you.............doesnt seem to be too many hoopsters around here
hand size is critical to dunking, you must have some big mits.....I have average size hands but they aren't as big as most 6'4 dudes so if it aint an outdoor ball I have problems.......the balls we played w/in games are of course new balls and they're too slick for me to palm

My nephew who is 14 years old is dunking pretty easily. He is 6'1" and has some large paws. Ive had him working on explosiveness for the past year which has really increased his vertical and quickness. I see him growing into 6'5" - 6'6" but he will be playing PG -SG regardless because his ball handling skills are already beyond High School level. A good investment for any youngster interested in Roundball is buying the Pistol Pete Homework Basketball Series, it cost me about $100 but it was worth every cent.
