Nikka, I high fived ya cause it appears you are going thru some of what I am. I keep thinking about our d line for next year. It is possible it will be a great one. I listened to Nutt talk about our receivers today and he is right that it a definate strength. Qb and rb are new but look good. Our o line is returning and should be good too. I like the head coach, oc and dc hired so put it all together I have some hopes for next year. Much bigger than 0-8 in the sec.

No doubt about it... man i'm excited! I honestly don't think an 8 win season is being unrealistic especially the way our schedule stacks up.
under Rocker and Nix, Peria Jerry could have a monster year if he stays healthy
and Marcus Tillman very well can play to his full potential & we will see if
Jerrell Powe can play to his hype he is a hoss and a half but if not Lawon Scott Teddy Laurent and possibly Chris Strong could definitely do good in the rotation.
Linebackers will certainly improve no question

Back when saben was hired as lsu's coach. (going back a year of two on ya) He said he had to teach the young men how to win more so than anything. Winning is more than talent and coaching, its how to finish the game with relentless determination. (true in anything sport) This is something we have not had in a while. Nutt must address this and I feel he is the coach to do it.

That's right having a winning mentality is a huge part of having success. I feel that Coach Nutt & his great staff FULL of winners from all levels of football will get the players to having the right mindset. I honestly think we have the talent to be contenders in the west this coming year although we're not as deep as we need to be but come spring we'll find out alot more than what we can just speculate about..
and this is not being unrealistic one bit

I just can't wait for spring to start!
