How does a boxer know when he's taken too many shots to the head, and it's finally time to hang up the gloves? Two weeks ago, Roy Jones Jr. knocked Tito Trinidad down once in the 7th and again in the 10th round on his way to a 12-round unanimous decision. Following the fight, Trinidad said, "If I could have avoided the knockdowns, I think I could have won the fight.".

Take away the points lost for the knockdowns and he's right. He had a chance to win. Woulda been sillier if he had said it after Jones beat him around the ring.

I don't know. I watched the fight, and Jones beat the brakes off Trinidad. It looked like the Jones of old against... well... an old Trinidad. I wasn't very happy about it, either. I hate RJJ, and he was doing that same old showboating and taunting act... I really wanted to see Trinidad go all "Tarver" on him, but, alas, it wasn't to be.
