Our highest ranking was 6 and ended up 6-6. I swear Tommy Bowden is the devil incarnate.

Actually, IMO that #6 ranking means very little to nothing to me, because of how all the top 10 teams were losing, and the rankings were so scrambled last season. In a normal season we'd never have made top 10, much less get to #6.

And our schedule is such that the 2nd half of our season is ALWAYS the toughest half of the season for us, by far. We were struggling with every win we were getting all the way to 6-1, with our OL, QB and run D issues. Not to mention our WR and ST issues. Actually, there wasn't any facet of our team last season that performed as we expected it should, even during the great first half.

The biggest improvements for us will have to lie in fundamentals in blocking and tackling, IMO. The other issues can be attributed to youth and inexperience: QB will still be a question mark, but I expect the WR issue to be resolved well enough to start the season that we'll have more targets than just McKinley to throw to. I'm excited about next season.
