Noah, Horford, and Brewer all had pretty good games last night, as they continue to try and make the transition from college ball to the NBA.

Noah again upstaged the starting center, Ben Wallace ( 3 points, and 5 rebounds in 24 minutes ), by scoring another double-double, with 14 points and 15 rebounds in 34 minutes. He also had 3 steals and an assist.

Horford had a double-double, as well, with 14 points and 11 rebounds as the starting center, in 29 minutes. He also had 5 steals, 2 assists, and a block.

Brewer came off the bench to score 13 points, and had 2 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal, and a block.

I'd say those guys are transitioning well, and staying true-to-form. Last year, those 3 guys averaged 12 points (Noah), 13.2 points (Horford), and 13.2 points (Brewer). BTW, the year before, they averaged 14.2 (Noah), 11.3 (Horford), and 12.7 (Brewer). What I like is how they brought Donovan's focus on defense to the NBA, where the players often forget all about playing good D to concentrate on upping their scoring averages. It's not often you hear about 2 centers having 8 steals... that'd be a good stat for a pair of point guards.

That is very impressive. I thought all would make an impact, but not this much nor this soon. I guess this helps explain those back-to-back national titles.
