View Full Version : Who are your teams three best returning players?

For Tennessee, I would have to say Arian Foster, Rico McCoy, and I'll go with Eric Berry for the third.
I'm sure opinions will differ, but that's what I want. Sell your players.

I will say Tebow, Percey and a suprise pick..... Our backup qb Cam newton! he wont do anything tell Tebow leaves but when he does step on the field he will be a stud!

1. Jevan Snead (was with team last season but couldn't play due to transfer rules)
2. Michael Oher (will definetly need his leadership on the O-line)
3. Greg Hardy (if he can learn to care more for the team than himself, he'll be dangerous)
Moreno, Stafford, Rennie Curran.

This is my list too. I might actually interchange Ashlee Palmer and Greg Hardy if Palmer picks up Nix's defense the way Brinkley did.
1.) Andre Smith
2.) Rolando McClain
3.) Rashad Johnson
Sounds about right. Maybe slip Kareem in there, but its all arguable.

1. Derek Pegues
2. Wesley Carroll
3. Christian Ducre
Ducre is the man. He went to my high school's big rival and ran all over us. He never ran me over, though. Mostly because we were playing tight on the WRs and he was usually past me and at the safety level by the time I realized it was a running play.

Javier really suprised me this year. He is a threat everytime he touches the ball. Almost makes me forget about Brandon "fumblitis" Brooks. Seriously, after Prothro's injury our return game was HORRIBLE. Javier, Lee Tiffen and Ron Middleton(We will miss you buddy) have been a savior on special teams.
We won a few games last year solely due to our special teams play. I hope it stays as good without Middleton.
My three:
1. Andre Smith
2. Rolando McClain
3. Kareem Jackson/Rashaad Johnson (I can't decide)

Yeah, Ducre really stepped up his game this past year. I wish Croom would have given him more opportunities. I thought he understood his role more than Dixon and was able to always get the tough yards needed for the first downs.

Is Dixon done?

Sounds right to me. But if they are in order, I'd put Brinkley at #1, Kenny #2 and E. Cook #3.

No, not done, but if he can't fix his fumbling problem he won't see the field very often next year, because MSU has a stable of RB's ready to take over, including Christian Ducre, Robert Elliot, and Marcus Green.

I don't see it. Ducre is a great player, but Dixon is the best RB IMHO. Dude is a BEAST. I'm pretty sure the coaching staff is pretty high on Dixon as well.

Dixon is a great player, but he has got to learn to hold onto the football and not try to do too much. He gets into trouble a lot because he tries to juke like he could run a 4.2/ 40. The kid isn't near that fast, but he can smack you in the mouth for four quarters straight, and that is what we need him to do. Just run North and South.

I agree with you Cianne, I think that Jonathan Cornell and/or Ashlee Palmer could really have a breakout year under Coach Nix they both have the ability to be great players..
i'm really excited about the talent and depth at WR... Mike Wallace will really shine with that big arm of Sneads.. that is one thing I do know about Snead he can really bomb it

Well I see my fellow swine is a bit stand offish about this thread. I'll step up and make an offering. After scraping the bottom of the bucket, here's my three Razorbacks returning.
C-Jonathan Luigs
TE-Ben Cleveland
SE-Crosby Tuck
Luigs would be on any one's list in the SEC. The conference's top center it wasn't hard choosing him.
Ben Cleveland sit out all of 2007 with a neck stinger that just wouldn't allow him to get back on the practice field.
And Freshman surprise, Crosby Tuck Broke his arm in the 3rd game of the season against Kentucky and was lost for the year. before the injury, he proved he can play.

I have never said that your football team sucks, never. I am as respectful to your team and its players as you are. Its tUF that sucks not its football team. If I felt otherwise, it would be dissing the arch.

I'd have Lester at 4, followed by Savage and Etheridge. Out best players are on defense by far. While Lester is the best playmaker on offense, I believe Blackmon, Coleman, and Marks are even better for the defense.

Just missed the cut: Mike Davis. He had a hell of a 2006 season, but he just seemed to fall apart towards the end of 2007. With those missed blocks during the UF game, his stock fell some.
