I had heard about the Auburn class ring that features a roll of toilette paper in a tree in honor of Toomer's Corner.
Anyway, someone posted a picture of it and here it is:

Please, for the love of all that is good and kind, tell me you do not receive a class ring with Charmin featured on it. Please tell me this is some joke and photoshopped picture.

I can't speak for what they do now, but when I graduated in 1991 each graduate was able to select the style of ring, etc... This included what you wanted for the side panels. I don't remember seeing that as an option & mine certainly doesn't have that particular casting. Mine has the AU seal on one side & a Tiger on the other (w/out the tp).
I guess that particular person really enjoyed the tradition of rolling Toomer's Corner.

Clip from the Balfour web site.
I like the euphemism "streamer" in place of the tp.
Each gold ring symbolically captures the uniqueness of Auburn University.
The first thing you notice is the instantly recognizable, interlocking "AU." Each side of the ring has an eagle — one symbolically facing the past, the other the future. On the side depicting the rich heritage of the past is the University seal as well as the founding date, 1856. The Auburn Mission Statement is reflected in the words on the seal: Instruction, Research, and Extension.
Looking to the side representing the future, we see the Auburn Tiger mascot and below that the post victory Toomer's Tradition represented by the streamer in the branches.

Apparently this is a newer trend because my 94 ring does not have it on there either. With that said...so what?

My 94 ring never got purchased. I spent the whole deposit on beer. Ah those were the days. Seriously, I didn't see the need in purchasing something I would never wear. I can tell you that I would have never purchased a TP ring, even though I am fond of Toomer's corner.

AUTiger mine was gift from my parents. They said 'Congratulations!! This is the last big purchase we plan on buying you!" I actually wore it for about 2 years.
