DeAndre is staying at home this weekend. He was heading to Ole Miss until Orgeron was fired. There was still a chance if Hughes was retained but he wasn't.

He'd rather head to the logjam of WRs at LSU. Best of luck to him.

Oh I agree. Especially when you return pretty much all of your top WRs like LSU did.

So far, Dudley LaPorte (a Vernon Davis type TE/WR from JUCO) has committed, Brandon Bolden (3* RB), and Justin Smith (3* DE/DT). Scout is reporting that Quinn Sanford is now re-committed to UM. The most interesting thing I've discovered this morning is that Alonzo Lawrence no longer has Alabama as his favorite; he said his top three are UM, Miami, and Alabama. When Scout interviewed UM commit Derrick Herman (3* DB), he said, after spending the weekend with Zo, that Alabama was no longer in the mix. He quoted Zo as saying he wanted to get away from home and Bama was too close. He said Zo was excited about Miami and it seemed Miami was his favorite. Sounds to me like we still have a solid shot if he dislikes his Miami visit. I'll keep everyone posted.

Oh, and Enrique Davis and (5* RB) and Andrew Harris (4*WR) had a great visit. The best thing going for UM right now, is that both Davis and Harris mentioned that current UM enrollee, Jared Mitchell, is one of their closest friends from Hargrave. This could factor in our favor before the end...

I hope you guys don't get Zo, but Ole Miss is ready to make a come up in the SEC WEST. You've recruited well over the years, have a possibility to make some huge splashes in recruiting this year (LEAVE ZO ALONE!!!!) and finally have a coach that knows what to do with it. By 09 that offense is gonna be ferocious to deal with week in and week out.
