a run heavy modified spread or what?
Cordera doesn't really have the wheels to be very effective in the spread and I hear Jeremy McGee has looked fantastic but may be too small to play RB

it will be interesting to see what kind of offense will be run to fit with our personal we have 5 good quality receivers in Wallace, Hodge, McCluster, Hicks, and Green. Also what should be a pretty dang good o-line with depth..
right now we don't really have the game breaking running back to go with that power running attack we have seen the past 3 or 4 years at Arkansas..
unless Tig can step in and be just as good at RB than his projected position at Safety which I think he is def an SEC caliber RB prospect rushing for 2,900 yards at any level is insane..

sorry i'm just bored and want to talk some football
opinions? convo?

Nutt will look at what's there and decide what he can make of it for 2008. He has his work cut out for him no matter what he chooses. There are some nice gaps at QB and running back and the SEC is very unforgiving of inexperienced people handling the football. I would certainly not look to freshmen to turn this ship around.

This first season, I'm more looking for increased effort and fight. I want Ole Miss to look solid and competent. Just doing this, until Nutt can get his type of players in the system, will at least win a few more games, and make Ole Miss respectable. We can win more games just by not being incompetent. That may have to do for the first couple of years. A 6-6 record would look awfully good compared to what we've had the past four years. It took awhile to dig this hole. We won't get out immediately. But we can certainly start the climb, and you can be assured of one thing. Nutt knows how to win, and he WILL.

But if it's possible, I would enjoy a good pasing offense in a few years and perhaps a few plays like Boise State. No matter what is done, I just want to win for a change. Hell, ole Nutt can run the single wing as far as I'm concerned if it will score points and beat somebody.

Lets not do spread, cause everyone would expect that. The whole NCAA is running spread

I don't like the spread too much, but with our personal it'd be horrible to waste the 5 pretty dang good receivers that we have
I just wanna see us stack up in the power I and next play spread it 5 wide
more of a diverse offense... if the QB can handle it and stay in rhythm

anyone else thinkin Tig might be a RB under Nutt?

I mean we got Kendrick Lewis Johnny Brown Jamarca Sanford and maybe Allen Walker if the new DB coach can coach him up because he def has all the physical tools
