The SEC is no joke now. Look at the coaches in the west. And Nutt and Croom will be bringing up the rear, fast. It may not matter if he stays or not.

Well, nothing has happened with the D Dawg situation. Somebody said they saw him driving an escalade and it snowballed into - he might not be eligible to play in the cotton bowl.

yea well he has tried his hand in the NFL and now he is in the next best thing (sec) I think he shoulda stayed put with he cards its one of those if it aint broke dont fix it, he thought the grass was greener on the other side ,this will make or break him ,but only time will tell ,if he is sucsessfull in the sec hats off to him, if not he will be in the revolving door with a shabby resume

i think he'll be successfull if he brings in a top notch QB. he's a good coach. wheather or not he stays in ark is another question.

McFadden did nothing wrong. The station that originally had the report has already apologized to McFadden about their crappy journalism.

HAHA, I agree Sabanocchio. Was certainly shocked to see Ramp say anything that may be construed as positive about Arkansas. :)

hey man...petrino's a good coach. i just wasn't a fan of Nutt
I agree with Ramp in that he won't be there long. I'd say maybe 3-4 years max. I just think for a coach with his ability and skill he'll look to be with a bigger named school. That is unless he can do something with Arky that noone believes he can, and make them an annual contender in the SEC... a very deep SEC, and strong division

The question is will a bigger named school hire him after all the mess he's been through? He may be at Arkansas for a while simply because no one will take him.

If he wins games, people will want him. And I think he will win, atleast that's the bright side of getting these coaches, even if they leave they'll leave you in great shape.
But I wouldn't be surprised if he's in the running for the Miami job in a few years. Maybe even Penn St.
