If you had to be a fan of another team who would it be? and don't give me the I am to loyal to change teams because that's not what this is about I would never change mine either it's just for fun if you weren't a ''team name'' fan who would you be, just be creative or somthin'.

I would pick Bama because they dress nice!

I would have to pick Florida . . . all of the Florida fans i've met have been nice, well-mannered people. I almost picked Georgia because it's close, but no. I hate them dawgs too much.

Georgia 'cause I'm from Savannah

I'd have to say GA. Mark Richt is all class even though some of the GA fans are kind of rude.

It would have to be Florida or Georgia for me, sorry I can't choose  . Florida because it would feel good to have a team that wins all the time, and competing for a NC. Not to mention the state of Florida is awesome with all the beaches. Georgia because I love the Red and black. I always wanted Bama to have some red and black, although there is some red and black Bama apparel(its not the true university colors).

Notre Dame.

What? I'm Irish.

My buddy is a Dawg fan so I'm willing to go with his team on this question. :D

Tennessee, as they have been an exceptional ambassador for the SEC since the very early days. Their tradition is as deep and proud as Bama's and that's something I'm drawn to.

I'd probably have to go with UF, as much as I hate to say it. They always compete in football and have a promising future. Plus they are great in basketball too and that helps the comedown after a football season. They've been decent in baseball too lately so it seemed like a no-brainer to me.

I would have to go with Arkansas bc im from arkanasas and im about to head that way now for the Liberty bowl(Go Dawgs)...sorry had to.....

I would have to pick Arkansas. When I was young I had an uncle that lived in Mt. Home, Arkansas in the Ozarks. We used to come down there and camp and swim. My uncle always gave me Arkansas t-shirts and hats, and the Razorback is a cool looking animal.

Mine would be OU. I would still be able to wear what I currently wear to games at the OU game. Not to mention their fan base seems very similiar to ours. They were great when we played them in 2002 and 2003. I went to both games and had a very good time.

If you want to me to pick an SEC team I guess UGA. Now if Les Miles were not the coach of LSU, I would probably tell you them.

LSU, I lived in Louisianna for a few years in the mid 90s and still miss it. I went to a couple of games in Baton Rouge and had a great time with the LSU fans.

Yeah, but then you'd have to spend all that extra money to have the jerseys they wear at your home so you can wear them

Tough question. I always like to say that I hope every SEC team goes 11-1, with their one loss being to Arkansas.

If forced to relocate my loyalty, I think it would be have to be LSU. The program, the people, and the entire state is a wonderful place. Loyal and classy folks down there (not that other programs aren't just as much so. I've just had some great experiences in the boot.)

Oh, and singularly some of the hottest women in the universe...

Florida for sure. Gators have always been my second favorite team. If USC doesn't win, I want the Gators to win in any sport.

Great idea for a thread. Wow, that's a tough question. If I were not an Auburn fan but were still from Alabama then I'd have to be a Bama fan (It is a state law you must declare one way or the other by the age of 5). If I were not from Alabama I'd probably have to go with Vanderbilt. That would mean I would more than likely be a Vandy alum and thus have fans of all the other SEC teams working for me.

No surprise from a Georgia fan, but I'd pick Auburn. It wouldn't be that big a change considering how intertwined the schools' histories are. But I just like a lot of the Auburn pageantry---the eagle flight, the fight songs, and the chants. The uni's look nice too.

Michigan, Arizona State, and Virginia.
I love those teams, and I will always cheer for them, unless they play Tennessee.
Tennessee takes precedence, but the others aren't too far behind.

I hate to say it, but if I WEREN'T a Vol, I'd probably like the Gators alot!! I love the colors, the Gator Chomp and the Swamp admittedly are pretty cool, and how could you get tired of all that winning??

I think if I had to pick another SEC team to be my favorite it would be South Carolina. My favorite non SEC team is Louisiana Tech because I go there and then Texas A&M.

Ole Miss - the grove..

Arkansas - cool stadium...

Yeah but those fraternity guys pay for it in the heat. I always wanted to dress like that to a game, until I met some fraternity guys and was like hell no. There are some cool ones though...

its not as much an alabama thing as it is a southern thing.

It's well known that a lot of southern school's do it, but there isn't many more than Alabama and Auburn who do it every game.

Go to a FSU game and you will see it isn't that much of a southern thing. I do think it's quite prevalent at Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Georgia. I've only been to a few games in Neland Stadium but I don't remember seeing the frat kids dolled up like the above mentioned schools.
