2004 AUBURN "TIGERS" NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RING - (eBay item 160192168269 end time Dec-27-07 07:35:02 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160192168269)
Thought some of you Auburn fans might be interested in this. Not meaning this in any smack, just thought it's pretty interesting to say the least.
Who do you guys think the former staff member is? :D

I actually know exactly who it belongs to..or at least I think I do.
Pilots of university aircraft received rings that year as well as staff and players.
One recently left his position as a pilot of our Citations..so I'd imagine it was him.

I knew it could be anyone, just wanted to see what you guys thought. Of course a lot of Bama fans say it's Borges, but I seriously doubt that one. Also thought it was strange that they have NC's on it.

All I know as a collector is; that would be nice ring to own if, 1)you were an Auburn fan and 2) you had the money. Championship seasons don't come along that often.
They absolutely deserve a ring. They deserve to claim '04 as a championship year.

Oh there's no doubt about that, and the same goes for 66' with Alabama.

Right and right! Everyone said we were lucky that we didn't have to play USC but I'd have loved the chance to get back at them. All the experts thought that Florida would get killed by tOSU last year, they thought the same thing when Tennessee played FSU for the MNC, also according to the experts Bama was in store for a donkey stomping at the hands of Miami in 92. In other words never bet against an SEC team when a ring is on the line, we usually come out on top.
