My fellow swine, I bring facts to you that will bring a warm feeling to your hearts which bleeds Arkansas red. It wasn't that long ago that Kentucky fans were laughing in our face thinking the stole a real gem from us in Basketball by signing Texas A&M coach Billy Gillispie.
Has the honeymoon came to a sudden end? Are the Blue Bloods having 2nd thoughts on their choice? Or maybe Kentucky basketball isn't all it's wrapped up to be. Neither is Notre Dame Football is you look at last season. Kentucky fans better take note.

Who made the better deal now. Any of you swine think that maybe Kentucky blue wish they might like to have it's former player back as their head cat? Too bad, He's now in Arkansas and goes by the name, Boss Hog. Nice start to the season Cats, Hows Tubby doing? 7-1 I do believe.

Yeah, I think we'll end up with the "shocker" hire of the season.

I'm not going to go on a homerism and spout off "ELITE EIGHT!!!!1" but I think we'll have an impressive season nonetheless for a team with a first year coach.

True Blue-Bloods always laugh. It's just they do hysterical laughter when they are losing. The only way to really tell the winning laugh (they do that at you) from the high pitched hysterical laugh (which means they are losing) is if they spill their imported wine on their shoes. Wet shoes, spilled wine, or, the line to the executive wash room was a little too long. Either way, wet shoes, losers laugh, OR, so I'm told.

If Arkansas wants to keep Pelphrey, we need to hope that BG works out at Ky. If Big Blue comes courting Pelphrey, I doubt he'll hesitate to go home to his dream job. By what I hear from Kentucky fans I know, he'll be the first choice.

TD is the one Hog fan still stuck in '94 when UK-Ark was a heated rivalry....lol.

Arkansas returned everyone....if Pelphrey can't do anything w/that....MY GOD.

Meanwhile UK lacks a junior class....a lock-down defender of a point guard (Jasper is on the bench).....Meeks just came back to us...while Patterson got injured before the same game.

Anytime anything good happens for us this year....something bad counteracts it. It's going to be a long season, and trying for sure. But UK fans know that Gillispie is a beast of a recruiter and the ship will be righted in another season or two. It takes time and patience.

Essentially, all the jackass comments that Alabama fans expect from Auburn fans and LSU fans are what we expect from the rest of you, regarding our coaching hire.

Both the Wildcats know and the Tide know that Gillispie and Saban need a few seasons to get things going exactly as planned.

I mean hell....I don't recall any of you ragging on MSU that Croom couldn't get it done right off the bat.

What it boils down to is you love to hate us....otherwise why would one bother posting such drivel. Anyone here who thinks that Kentucky is going to be anything short of spectacular in a few seasons is out of their minds.

And wine at UK....you must have Ole Miss confused w/UK. We drink bourbon here son.

It is a little too early to be comparing who is a better hire. I mean we are not even in conference play yet.

And you know.....recruiting over the course of a few seasons....which Gillispie will absolutely blow Pelphrey out of the water in. Bottom line is the whole conference isn't exactly up to snuff this year....When Ole Miss and Vandy are on top of the 2 divisions....we got issues folks.

Nice start to the season Cats, Hows Tubby doing? 7-1 I do believe.Your not quite comparing apples to apples........UK has 2 maybe 3 players that are truly worth of playing championship level D1 ball, the rest of the entire team wouldn't be bench warmers for most of the top 30 teams in the nation, in fact some of them would be lucky to play on some DII teams. Tubby left the cupboard pretty bare..............Bradley and Crawford have always been underachieving headcases and the only dependable players would be Patterson, Meeks and Jasper. I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for the rest of the team.

Tubby got out while the gittin was good and anyone with any sense at all can see the lack of talent UK has on the court. Talk to me about results in 2 yrs., then we can do a fair coaching comparison.

I kind of wish Arkansas and UK had a bit more of a rivalry.... they are the two most storied basketball programs in their respective divisions of the SEC. I think it is only fitting that there is some animosity there. I don't hate UK. But I want to really really bad. I just need a reason. I want UK to be good when Arkansas is good and so forth. That way the game is bigger and it means more to each side. But that is the only way a rivalry is born. I wasn't very old in 94 but I was old enough to realize that people in Fayetteville and Arkansas thought it was always a big deal when the two schools played.

And just for the record it IS way too early to be comparing the two hires. We get caught in that trap because, no offense, UK got some greatly undeserved love from the media after the BG hire. Their team isn't that spectacular as most UK fans will admit. Their high ranking was undeserved in the beginning. People did that because BG was a high profile hire and UK is a traditional powerhouse in basketball. But their team isn't that impressive, and is getting less impressive as the season wears on.

Pelphrey.... now he is in a tough spot. Because he has a bunch of system guys, and he is trying to run a different system - the opposite system really - Arkansas is struggling in games they shouldn't struggle in and losing to teams who aren't as talented. They are still winning most of the time because these guys really want to work hard for their coach. They all like the guy, even though he will punish them, and publicly talk about it in some cases. He is respected, and that is keeping them in every game.

Anyway, that is my assessment. I'm pretty sure JP will be here for at least 5 years. And I'm pretty sure BG will stay at UK at least 3.

I just need a reason.

We are the greatest program ever. What more reason do you need?

You also lead the nation in Lawn Jockeys, so whats your point? People like you are the only ones who actually believe that crap. People from UCLA, Indiana, Kansas and North Carolina would have something to say about you blowin your own horn. Take a step back and look at the big picture. Making an arrogant statement like that no wonder Tubby Quit you B******s.

Actually...I made that statement to draw just such a reaction that you provided TD....to point out what an *%&$^$ you really are. Thanks.

It's a good thing I tested the waters here, that asbestos-lined kevlar underwear comes in handy!
