. . . for the Heisman Trophy, that is.

from the Atlanta Urinal & Constipation: (http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/uga/stories/2007/12/06/gareport_1207.html)

Richt likes Tebow for Heisman

The Heisman ballots are in. Georgia coach Mark Richt didn't cast one. But if he had, the winner on his ballot would have been Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.

"[Arkansas running back Darren McFadden] is a special guy, for sure," Richt said. "I think I would vote Tebow. I've got a lot of respect for the other guys. I am sure that will be on Hawaii's bulletin board. I have a lot of respect for Colt [Brennan, Hawaii quarterback] and what he has done, but I think Tebow is unlike any other player I have ever seen."

Just got to say this as well - you have to admit that Mark Richt has big cahonas...

He'd damn well better have the boys ready to blow out the inferior & lesser talented Rainbow Warriors, especially if he's willing to step up & provide motivational material for them - just saying...

Richt's also partial to onfield celebrations.......

Shocking he would pick a player his team beat over a player on a team he didn't play? huh? why would that be????? hmmmmmm

You really don't get a sarcastic question. You as a coach hype your opponent. Richt never played DMAC this year. That's like asking Pete Carrol if Dixon or Tebow is better.... he'll say Dixon.

Well I don't pay to much attention to see if it's sarcastic or not lol

This may be the dumbest thing you've said yet. Incredible how you're able to top yourself with each subsequent post. Brennan is a Heisman candidate, too, genius. If he was going to do that, he'd hype him for it, since he's about to play them in UGA's biggest game of the year. That way, if UGA wins, his team looks that much greater. If they lose, well, he said Hawaii and Brennan were great, and it's hard to beat a guy he said should win the Heisman. Sometimes I wonder how you're still breathing.

So as I pointed out that your public school education (which is #13 in public schools that allow left handed midgets who smoke cigars and drive pink cadillacs where as Vandy ranks 20th in this category) doesn't teach you deductive reasoning. Richt hasn't played Brennan. He's played Tebow and will continue to play Tebow. He has more to lose not saying Tebow.

 What? He doesn't have anything to lose either way. Why is it so hard for you to believe that people can just give their opinions without some kind of ulterior motive? Shouldn't you be working on the JFK assassination anyway? Obviously the vast majority of human beings on the planet disagree with you and your convoluted ideas, "thoughts", and opinions. Why even bother trying to figure what the conspiracy behind it could be? Just accept that virtually nobody thinks like you... on just about every issue you've ever commented on. You sure waste a lot of time trying to figure out why you're wrong all the time. People don't have some hidden agenda against you, I promise. All these people voting another way than you would has nothing to do with a plan to make you look bad. Nobody is sitting around, saying to themselves, "Well, I really don't think Tebow is the best player; but, just to make BamaFan look stupid, I'm going to vote for him anyway.". I'm sure it makes you feel much better to think you're that important; but, in reality, normal people just vote or speak their mind and heart... that must be a foreign concept to you. All you ever speak out of is hate and jealousy.

Well, maybe that's not all... there's also ignorance and paranoia.

I am actually one who said I would give it to Tebow. SO YOUR A FREAKIN' TROLL! Your whole motive is to shout everyone down and get your excitement calling names on a message board. I am one who admits when I am wrong. I also don't take everything at face value. There is a motive behind every interview..... If you don't believe so, you have never worked in media or in an athletic department. How do I know I have worked in both.

Are you serious? Do you know how many people say Tebow should win the Heisman??? Why is it shocking to you that he says Tebow... there's an ass-ton of people saying it! What in the hell does Richt have to gain by hyping Tebow? This isn't the coaches poll where they rank em high to make their SOS look better, Tebow getting a Heisman doesn't do jack squat for the Dawgs. Jeez, sometimes you say some stupid sh**.

I just thought that it was very interesting that CMR is plugging Tebow for the Heisman.

This endorsement comes despite the fact that he is about to play against the team who also has a candidate AND whose coach has plugged that candidate while disparaging Tebow.

Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with giving a shout out for your guy, but June wasn't happy just to do that. He had to go and slam the other guy.

I mean, does my comment about how fat your date is make my girl look any better?

Richt's comments are a direct contradiction of what JJ said - right before his match up against them in the biggest game of the history of their program.

I'm giving a big thumbs up to the GA coach.

Cahonas as big as Les Miles?

Big major difference here.

Richt gave his honest opinion about who is deserving of the top award in college football. Miles made a mean spirited (or butt stupid) comment that was sure to grate on the nerves of every Arkansan (whether they care for football or not)

Never mind...... on this board everyone's team and coaches have honest intentions. Except Saban, right?

For the record, Richt has seen McFadden up close and personal. UGA played them in '05 when he was a freshman. He's very aware how dangerous Dmac can be.
b/t/w UGA barely beat Arky that year. We lost DJ Shockley halfway through the game and Joe Tereshinski finished it out. Oh, and Richt also voted Jay Cutler above DJ and Richt was absolutely IN LOVE with him. What were his ulterior motives then?

Is it so hard to believe that some coaches speak their mind? If he was trying to hype Hawaii, wouldn't he say that Brennan was better?

I am convinced Miles actually has a Mangina.

"Tebow tore his D up...did you watch it?"

Oh reaaaaaly? I didn't know Tebow dug older guys.
I kid! I kid!
