#2 Memphis vs. USC

Memphis meets USC in New York tonight. It should be a fun game to watch. It provides for the matchup of Rose and Mayo, two of the best freshmen in the nation. I'm going to miss most of it unfortunatly because I have to work.

Predictions?

I think Memphis wins by 10 or more.

Folks keep ranking UCLA and UNC #1....but my #1 pick was Memphis. How do you lose no one and add Derek Rose and not become anything short of a beast.

UNC isn't all that....UK was sans Derrick Jasper and Jodie Meeks. We lost by 9. Had they been in....well...that's another 20-25 pts in UK's favor.....so the Heels don't impress me at all.

UCLA...well, they are solid fo' sho'. Lost to Texas...but that's not shameful at all. the Horns are alright this year as well.

Kansas is Kansas and will always be. Lots of talent....always screws up and fall short in the end. I never worry about Kansas winning a national title, no matter how good they look.

So in short (after some length) Memphis is a legit threat and my pick to win it all this year.....even tough Calipari is a greasy scumbag :D lol

Good game. Memphis almost let them have it but pulled out the W, even with CDR and Rose not being as productive as usual. I didn't see the end. Work + practice + girl problems = me falling asleep with 30 seconds left. But I'm glad the Tigers won.

I got my tickets to the Memphis/Georgetown game! Student tickets at that. I can't wait!
