SEC moves from 7th to 2nd should tell great coaches out their that are tired of being left out of the big game something. If I was Bob Stoops, I'd bolt to Arkansas and show the SEC West how to play the game. He could own the west against these mental Juggernauts.
Alabama - Nick $aban
Arkansas - Bob Stoops
Auburn - Tommy Tuberville
LSU - Less Miles
Ole Miss - Houston Nutt
Mississippi State - Sylvester Croom
Who would you bet on?

I think he has it made in Oklahoma. It is much easier going undefeated in the Big 12 then the SEC.

Ditto. Though I'd take him as coach.

Why would Stoops leave the Sooners? I always hear his name in coaching searches, but He has the sweetest setup around.
Easy path to the National Title
Great recruiting base
Good paycheck
Great rivalry game
Huge fanbase
What else can you ask for? Arkansas is a step down, Sorry Razorbacks.

The man is making his own dynasty at one of the premier programs in college football. He'll go down as one of the greats at a school that's already considered one of the greats. Why would he start over from scratch?

Bowden is staying at Clem Tech, according to a statement released a few minutes ago. Another coach using a job offer to get a better paycheck.
I wish you guys the best in getting a quality coach who really wants the job.

Who would you bet on?If you seriously think that Bob Stoops will come to Arkansas, I'd bet that your employer doesn't have mandatory drug testing.

You've got to wake up...there is no way we are getting a quality coach given the crap the so called 'fans' put Nutt through. Think about it; if a home grown boy can't be successful with his fan base when the going gets tough, would any outsider want the job?
Nutt proved that a high paycheck and the prestige of the SEC couldn't keep him in a snake pit. He got lucky that the Ole Miss job was open.
At best we get a second tier coach that is on the way up. You can forget about a top tier coach going to Arkansas. We're in for some rough years.

I woke up years ago. And I can't agree with you more. The haters are having 2nd thoughts of the Nutt FIRING and might realize now, but never admit it, that he was best for the program as of now.
It's messed up in Fayettville tonight. The board is split and John White is asking to go to the Atlanta Firm that found Pelphrey, to help us in the Football search.....WHAT THE HELL? WHY ARE WE PAYING A AD FOR?

Sounds like it, all b/c of the whole Mustain/Malzahn crap. Nutt was forced to get Mustain, then things got sour between both parties. Now they all split lol and we're stuck talking about who's going to coach the Hogs, and weather or not to fly banners ha! What a mess, hello Vandy, and nice to meet you Ole Miss...... Actually Ole Miss might start owning us b/c Nutt's going to try and rub it right in the fans noses. Everythings been handled terribly ever since 06'.
