Fellow swine, easy up a bit. Some of you are getting out of control over these rumors on the coaching hire. Didn't Mondays press conference teach us anything about the truth coming out of Fayettnam? No. Chancellor White seen to that with his circus he created.
And what fans are seeing today is carried over from Monday evening to add a nation PR campaign to make the UofA look the best it can under the present circumstances. Tommy Tuberville has no intention of coming to Arkansas. Super Agent Jimmy Sexton is seeing to that. Tommy is just looking out for the best interest of...Tommy T.
Meanwhile, UofA officials are gladly letting it continue. Why some may ask, because it's great for the school. Tuberville considered by most as a big name in the coaching biz. By that big name showing interest in Arkansas is great PR. So when the next coach is hire, another dog and pony show will take place by university officials saying, "Yes even top names in out sport showed great interest, but we were after one man and one man only. He was out first choice and that's the man you see before you today". get my drift?
Arkansans know this. Image is a important thing on the hill. And the possibility
of egg being on the face of any official from the university that were involved
in the hiring process 10 years ago that left Tuberville out and Houston Nutt in, would be considered failure.
So Hiring a 53 year old Tuberville at Arkansas is never going to be. Tuberville and Arkansas are using each other and as I see it, Tubs is looking pretty damn good at being a Flem Flam Man. Auburn Officials better ask Tubs if they can cut the cards before the deal.
