Man, I wish I could get paid $2 million a year to stand around and make angry faces. Not a bad gig, this coaching thing.
It's amazing to me how quick the turnaround is to find a new coach.

He's a great hire for ATM. He'll make an immediate impact, especially in recruiting. Look for them to start scoring a ton of points with him at the helm.

Tuberville and Jimmy Sexton are the ones to blame for the rumors. They started them to try and get Tubby more money, and Sexton gets a piece of that too.

It's imperative to replace a coach right away, to keep your recruits from getting happy feet, and going somewhere else. If they sense any unrest or weakness in a program, they'll go to another school. Most have more offers than they can count... literally (in some cases) and figuratively.:laugh:

Having not been to high school here, and not knowing terribly much about how recruiting works - but football players must all have ADD if they are that changeable :wink:
I can see the logic, though. Seems like whoever is in charge of finding a new coach wouldn't get much sleep for a couple of days!
