I would think it was HIS decision. Better go get him OM!

The Morning News: Razorback Central : Nutt Won't Return To Coach Razorbacks In 2008 (http://www.nwaonline.net/articles/2007/11/26/razorback_central/112707nuttgone.txt)

I find it interesting that the OM Chancellor gave Orgeron a ringing endorsement and said he would definitely be back next year, then canned him 2 weeks later. Could these two events be linked together?

You beat me to it! ESPN - Sources: Nutt will not return as Arkansas coach - College Football (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3128404)

Maybe we'll see Nutt in Oxford next year.

I cant beleive that clown is allowed to be on the air. Nutt evidentally is resigning to take the Georgia tech job. It appears that the Springdale mafia has won.

Yep, that's what I'm hearing. He'll do well at GT. UGAs rival just got tougher.

You know we probably just lost the best overtime coach in the history of the current overtime setup.

We better roll out a huge wad for whoever they get next.... and he better be good or it could get ugly on the Hill.

I don't know wheter Nutt will go to GT or not....but I'll tell you where he SHOULD go.

NEBRASKA!

That's a match made in heaven. Their culture is to run the ball with big beef up front on both sides of the ball. That's exactly who Nutt is...it's his philosophy...and he would be a KILLER coach for the Huskers.

Either way...I'm reminded of the old proverb "Be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it." I think Arkansas is going to live to regret how they have pushed Nutt out the door.

I think that you are very correct. He would be a great fit at Nebraska though my understanding is that they don't want him. May have something to do with him snubbing them a few years ago. And Arkansas may very well regret pushing him out. He is a better coach than most in this state realize and a bunch of darksiders are about to get a taste of reality.
