Well in the past 5 years, Florida is 2-2 vs. the Big 10 in bowl games. Not to bad especially after winning the NC last year. I am going to say that Florida plays Illinois in the Capital One or Outback Bowl just because the media will love UF playing their former coach. Don't worry, just about all the bowl games are home game for SEC teams. Thats quite an unfair advantage in my book. JMO.

Would you rather have games in the frigid north in December/January? Because of the weather there aren't bowl games in Big Ten country or most of Big East country. The Southern half of the country spans the Southeast, Southwest and southern midwest (Texas/Oklahoma). Since there aren't any stadiums worth anything in New Mexico there aren't many bowl games there. California has a number of bowl games. Nevada has a bowl game. Texas has quite a few bowl games. That leaves the Southeast which has tons of football stadiums to use. That leaves only a few bowls that aren't in the Southern area of the country. The Motor City bowl is in a Dome so it is in the North, there is a bowl in Boise, and then Hawaii has a bowl.

I think it would be cool to see some outdoor games up north in January. But they'd probably lose ticket sells because noone wants to sit in 0 degree weather. How about playing at Foxboro or Lambeau stadiums?

Unless they want to add an Ice Bowl to the bowl lineup, I don't think it is happening :P.

I remember last year when Miami FL had to play in the MPC computers bowl @ Boise State stadium. I think it was in the single digits! That had to be brutal on those south florida boys.

WTF? How is a top 10 rank team going to go to the Capital One or OutBack Bowl? Dang for a smart Big 10Eleven guy, I don't know where these thought's of your come from at times. Look for Florida to be in the Orange Bowl, or possibility the Fiesta Bowl. Where ever Kansas don't go, that's where you'll find Florida. Bet your arse, research will be done learning who would travel better to Glendale Arizona. IM guess Florida would.
They will be ranked going into the bowl at #9. Again, #9 teams doesn't go to Capital One and Outback Bowls.

Jeez you say dumb s*** sometimes. Only 2 teams from any 1 conference can be in the BCS bowls. That means that the winner of the SECCG will go to the Sugar Bowl, and Georgia will get the other BCS bid (they are the highest ranked SEC team). Florida cannot get a BCS bid.
