You guys have gotten it done, but you haven't been as hot. Since your matchup with us you've gotten blown out by Alabama... and barely survived Vandy and Kentucky.

Georgia has won every game since UT, and steamrolled everybody since they left Nashville.

you didnt steam roll uf...we should have scored that last td that was fumbled and you would have one by like what 6?

I wish LSU had won as well, but just so UT could knock off the #1 BCS team. We have unfinished business with them; they stole a game in 2001 from us when we should have played for the Nat Championship...and then last year they scored on us with 8 seconds to play to take a game in Neyland. While I know it would have been better for the conference nationally to have UGA go, we need a shot at LSU. Maybe they'll wax us, which I'm sure the line will say. However, maybe the fact this is the last game Les Miles will coach for them in conference & the fact their team got out-played physically against Ark, UT has a shot. GO VOLS.

Umm.....I seem to remember UGA struggling mightily in Nashville.....How does that rank as 'hot' ?

C'mon now... UGA was in control of that game from start to finish. It maybe not "steamrolling" but I think you would agree, UGA has been on fire since UT.

imo the gator game was closer than your ''steamrollin'' it to be...

The uf gator game was a shootout it could have went either way..if moore wasnt a jackass we could have won he had 2 huge turnovers..but w/e i just think it was a close game

I have to agree that Georgia is on fire, but we did beat them by 21 points in Knoxville. You make it out like that what needs to be considered is how both teams have done since that game like that game did not happen. Also, if Tennessee would have played the easy non-conference schedule Georgia played we would be ranked #4.

Well it's all a moot point, because we did lose in Knoxville. So not much point in talking about it. Next year will be our year.

But I'm not sure you OOC schedule was much tougher than ours. OK State looked to be a better team than they showed this year when we scheduled them, and Cal as it turns out wasn't that good anyway.

It seems to me it might shape out as a big time game with title contenders

You played Oklahoma St. at home and we played California on the road. Cal is a very good team. They were ranked #2 at one time. They lost a couple of games when Longshore got hurt. Longshore came back and they only lost by 7 to USC. If you saw that game you would have been impressed with Cal. The way they played in that game they could have beaten any SEC team that day.

I will even be so bold as to say Georgia and Florida will both be thinking National Title when they meet in Jacksonville. 1 room, double beds, non smoking under the name of Herbstreit and Corso, please!

Maybe so.... but when we scheduled Oklahoma State, they looked like a #3 big 12 team... and they SHOULD have been this year too. Next year we play Arizona State in Tempe, which will settle any criticism about us not playing tough OOC road games.

That is true. That will be a great game against Arizona St. I am not necessarily criticizing Georgia as more defending UT. It almost feels like we have to apologize for making the championship game. I am not sorry. We did it while not necessarily in dominating fashion, but we ran the table against South Carolina, Arkansas, Vandy, and Kentucky after a bitter loss against Alabama and deserve to be there.

No, you don't owe any apologies for it. It's just a bitter pill to swallow for Georgia fans because we finished tied in the East.

I wish UGA could miss that meat grinder of a game every year and still be ranked 4 in the country. That game will literally beat the living hell out of UT and LSU and one of them will plummet in the BCS because of it. Blessing in disguise if you ask me.

The ultimate irony will be when UGA gets into the BCS Champ Game without having to beat LSU in Atlanta.
And admit it crawdaddy, you were more than relieved to see UK lose to UT. Mainly because you get to stay a 2 loss team. :)

Are you kidding me? After the way we have been playing the last four SEC games, it didn't matter who we would be playing. To be honest with you, I was hoping the Bulldogs would pull it out, because a win over a higher ranked Georgia team would only help us in the BCS rankings. So "relieved" ...no! I'm sure that might be true with some Tiger fans, but not this one. I love big big games with the Florida's, the Auburn's and yes, the Georgia's

If you would be honest, I'm sure you were more disappointed NOT to get into the SEC championship game than we were "relieved" to see Uk lose to UT.

WITH ALL THAT SAID, Georgia has a very special team that has developed this year. I am a huge fan of your coach and think he is the top coach in the SEC right now. I think Georgia will go to the Orange Bowl.

Beating Troy by 10 point is something I hardly consider "steam rolling"

Don't knock Troy, they are 8-3 and have the balls to play 3 teams from the SEC in the same season... they are a better team than Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and probably better than USC and Bama right now.

I didn't pull for UT (against my religion), but was glad they won because it opened up a Bowl spot for Bama after 2 SEC teams qualified for the BCS. I would like to thank Tennessee for that. I takes a man to nut up and do that for us after we STOMPED YOUR ASSES 41-17! :)
