Wow, where'd you find that? The BCS site itself hasn't even published the new rankings.
Where is that PAC-10 dominance that BamaFanNKy was talking about earlier this year???

They are announced on FOX after the NFL games. Somehow FOX has rights to announce the BCS standings before anybody else; even though they cover ZERO college football throughout the year.

You mean for the 6th time in the last 6 meetings? OU already beat 'em by 10 once this year, and Bradford is back healthy. Plus, OU's defense is much better than anything Daniel has gotten to beat up on in the 12 North. He threw for over 300 yards in the last game, but only had 1 TD and 2 picks. I'm still going with Stoops.

It is strange. If UGA had one more game to win, they'd jump tOSU. Or, if they'd beaten GT worse, they might have jumped them this week. UGA's new SOS is #19, tOSU's is #46. http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/toughest%20schedule/ia_9games_cumm.pdf (http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/toughest%20schedule/ia_9games_cumm.pdf) But, they're stuck now, just like the Buckeyes are.
I have no idea what you are saying here that Georgia is STUCK NOW, when clearly Georgia is No. 4 in Every Single Poll. There are games this weekend for the teams and there are the Bowl Games, after which the Final AP Poll and the Final USA Today Coaches' Polls will be Published. Those will be the only Polls for 2007-2008 which will be Published, the Final Polls. Just because the BCS does not aggregate the Polls (except for the AP Poll which dropped out of it), does not mean that Georgia or Ohio State is Stuck Anywhere.
There are only five (5) Football Programs who have been to more Bowl Games than UGA, and of the Programs who have been to as many Bowl Games as UGA, none of them have fewer Bowl Losses than us. It stands to great reason, as the nation's hottest football team with a tandem at QB and TB who when 1 is hot, we can rely on him to Win, that UGA will not only remain the Top SEC Ranked, Most Respected SEC Football Team for this Entire Season 2007-2008; but that we will move up in The Polls and also start next season in the Preseason Polls as the Top Ranked Team in the SEC, since they are both recruits we Signed to February 2006 Signing Class.
It is not considered inflammatory to point out that while the BCS does not conduct a poll after Saturday, that even then Georgia is NOT STUCK, even in that Poll – quite clearly. Excuse me, but I find that inflammatory to state that by you Gatorvarsity.

It'll take a pretty big jump for one of the #4-#7 teams to jump Ohio State also. VT and LSU probably have the best chance since they still play another game vs. a ranked team.
Sorry, I do not agree that LSU can move up from No. 7 by beating a Number 14 team, Tennessee. Your chances are over, in my humble opinion of what the voters have stated.
The voters have already said that LSU didn't play Georgia but most assuredly did play Kentucky and Lost when UGA beat KY. You beat Auburn and Florida, so did UGA. You beat Virginia Tech in 2007, but Georgia in 2007 beat Virginia Tech as well, and your QB and TB don't measure up to the Tandem at Georgia the next 2 seasons after this one either.
The real issue is that LSU is not focused right now, and frankly is considered to be the team most likely to lose to whoever you played in the SEC CG because of the lack of effort by Les Miles to quell the rumors.
LSU is No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll, Number 7 in the BCS, Number 8 in the Jeff Sagarin BCS Poll, and Number 6 in both the Anderson-Hester BCS Poll and Number 6 in the Peter Wolfe BCS Poll. You have one game against a lesser-ranked team ranked Number 17 in the BCS Richard Billingsley Poll, Number 15 in the Harris Interactive which replaced the AP Poll in the BCS and Number 15 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. The vols are also ranked Number 14 in the BCS Peter Wolfe Poll and Number 14 in the BCS Jeff Sagarin Poll. Beating them is not going to jump you to Number 3.
There are 3 teams ahead of UGA in the Polls with 2 weeks remaining. LSU cannot get past Georgia, and the difference is huge :
.8309 is Georgia.
.7851 is a long way back to Kansas from .8309 to .7851.
.7844 is very close from Kansas to LSU, should get past Kansas however.
.7678 is Virginia Tech and they could jump LSU playing Boston College
Because Boston College is way up there higher ranked than the vols are for LSU with Boston College, for example ranked No. 6 in the BCS Wesley Colley Poll and five (5) places better in the average of all BCS "computer polls" than the 3-loss vols who count among their losses already a 6-5 California team and a 6-6 Alabama team, neither considered very good, while on the other ledger the vols have only 1 win over a ranked team all season long and that game at Home for the vols.
No, the vols should not beat LSU; and LSU has no value in beating the vols except to gain a 10th SEC Championship and 1st accomplishment by Les Miles before he obviously moves on. He needs it for his résumé.
The reason why The SEC Championship Game was set up by its founder, and I read his statements at the time was to give a Boost to the Top Ranked SEC Team to get into the Game. Playing Number 14 vols with 3-losses and 1 win over any ranked team, is not going to do you any good.
Saying otherwise in this post by you, is an affront to the intelligence of those who know. Check it out in the rankings. LSU has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Les Miles too, except his 1st accomplishment at LSU period of 1 SEC Championship to for example the 2 Coach Richt already has. The vols, on the other hand, can and will jump Florida. Just as Virginia Tech can and will jump LSU. Facts of the voting are there; but, you have to study the facts, not say you will jump because you are just right behind UGA. No one is right behind UGA. It is a huge drop back from Georgia to the next 3 teams, all lumped together where VT stands to gain and LSU does not, as I see it.

LSU is a cold team right now, and at the worst possible moment. You are a distracted team with yet another him-first coach for 2 in a row. You are playing a weak opponent who has lost to a 6-6 and 6-5 team and beat only 1 ranked team in 13 games and counting. The voters have reflected that. The Computers have reflected that, and Les Miles still hasn't done a damn thing at LSU - not in recruiting, not in game decisions, not in developing a reasonable tandem at QB and TB, and not in SEC Championships. LSU is not being mistreated to have every poll say the same thing. Virginia Tech is playing a far better opponent in the voter's eyes than LSU in addition.

I don't understand how Vtech can be ranked over LSU...other then that everything else in the polls looks fine
(1) LSU plays team ranked 5 places worse BCS PC polls than Boston College
(2) LSU lost to KY 7-5 and ARK 8-4 neither in BCS Top 25 in last 6 games
(3) BCS gives huge credit any team playing a Top-ranked OOC opponent.
(4) BCS setting up VT to avenge their loss to Boston College.
(5) Boston College is No. 11 BCS and No. 8 Avg. BCS PC polls.
(6) VT beat No. 22 BCS today Virginia At Virginia last week.
(7) LSU lost the 2nd of their last 6 games & at home vs unranked team.
(8) Both teams are 10-2.
(9) NCAA Strength of Schedule shows LSU No. 35 and VT No. 12.
(10) LSU has win over Auburn, VT and Florida - all 3 at your house.
(11) LSU played no other good team all season, but managed to lose 2.
(12) VT beat No. 16 Climpson Farmers on the road at their house.
(13) VT beat No. 22 Virginia on the road at their house while you just lost.
(14) VT is hot. LSU is NOT.
(15) VT gets credit for going on the road and playing LSU.
(16) How much a team wins by is no longer allowed as part of BCS
(17) It means nothing to the voters either - especially the coaches.
(18) Les Miles is perceived as a guy who hasn't gotten the job done yet.
http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/toughest%20schedule/ia_9games_cumm.pdf (http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/toughest%20schedule/ia_9games_cumm.pdf)
Play a better Strength of Schedule than The Official NCAA SOS No. 35 and quit whining about VT going on the road recently to beat No. 16 Climpson and No. 22 Virginia last week while you were losing to an unranked opponent for the 2nd time in 6 games, giving VT an Official NCAA Strength of Schedule No. 12.
Note if you will please that VT plays what the Average BCS Computer Poll ranks No. 8 Boston College, while LSU plays the Average No. 13 in the BCS Computer Polls vols.
You played a poor schedule at LSU again this year.
You lost to 2 unranked teams and played all your games at home over the only 3 teams on your schedule who were any good.
Virginia Tech has had a better year than LSU.
So, has Georgia.
And, both of us are hot, and you aren’t. Are you ?
Your biggest problem though is compounding all of this, VT plays yet again a better opponent than LSU and will clearly JUMP LSU if both win as a direct result.

What happens to Tennessee's rank if they smoke LSU? This year the east is better. And The Vols did beat the only two teams that beat LSU. And I don't care what you say, they manhandled the dawgs. UT is way underrated in my book. I still can't believe experts were picking UK over them.
