#4 in both polls.

I was pulling for CT yesterday & will be pulling for Pitt & OK next week - the pipe dream lives...

Anywho - it looks like we'll end the year at #2 if we win our bowl game

Top four is no surprise to me. But two things did stand out about the poll.

1. Kansas didn't drop further than I expected.
2. Arkansas didn't break into top 25 after winning in Death Valley on Friday.

Anyone else have a thoughts about this?

KS dropped further than they should have.

AR - what do you expect? Nobody lost that would allow them to rise - they needed SC to beat Clementine to get in this week.

I agree with the KU statement. Undefeated #2 losing to #4 shouldn't drop you very far; but, as I tried to point out on numerous occasions this season, losing late takes a much bigger toll on your ranking than early on in the season. That's pretty harsh for a single loss, but people were waiting for an excuse to drop them anyway. We all know Mizzou and KU are paper tigers, and don't really belong in the Top 10. They may have the best records, but their teams in the Big 12 North are weak, and the defenses absolutely pathetic.

But, Arky should have broken into the Top 25 on the strength of beating #1 alone. They went 5-1 in their last 6 games.

The reason Kansas dropped so far is because of their schedule strength. People were reluctant to rank them that high in the first place, because they didn't play anybody. Missouri was the first decent team they've played all season, and they couldn't match up. It's no surprise that they dropped as far as they did. The voters saw what they believed to be true all along... Kansas can't match up with the top teams.

Go Dawgs!!! Now we need Okie to beat Missouri and WV to lose to PItt. Both wont happen, but we can always hope.

Oklahoma already beat Mizzou once this year... it could very likely happen again.

In fact, LSU is No. 7 in the Coaches' Poll.
