ESPN is reporting that Dennis Franchione resigned as ATM's football coach following the team's upset of 13th ranked Texas. It's being reported during the ongoing 30-point beatdown of tOSU by ATM in basketball. More to be reported following the game. Says he won't coach in the bowl game.

It is going to be another wild time, as the Aggies struggle with abandonment. They will be one of the teams competing to be the center of attention, as they search for a new coach. I think it is a time of tension and yet pleasure. They probably have someone else in the wings, ready to sign a contract.

Would be kinda ironic if they plucked another Alabama coach, and I'm not talking about Nick Saban

Bring RC back. He'll give up his gig with the AAFL if it means returning to College Station.

RC may want to come back, but would A&M take him back?
