You have the ball on your side of the fifty yard line. It's fourth down. It's in the fourth quarter. You are playing strong defense. The other team (State) has been physically whipped, and, you decide to go for it. Guess what? that's loser football. That was the beginning of the disaster. If we kick the ball I think we win the game.
3-9, the worst season in Ole Miss history!! Thanks Ed. :brick: :brick:

It is time to clean house from the top down in Oxford. Today's game management by Coach O was a disgrace. He showed once again that he is in way over his head. It is not his fault that he lacks the skills and judgement to be a head coach, but it is Pete Boone's fault that he was hired in the first place. Ole Miss needs to fire Boone and Orgeron on Monday and begin a national search for a new AD. The eventual winner of the job should be predicated up on whom that candidate can bring in as the new head football coach.

That was some of the worst 4th quarter coaching/play I've ever seen. The 4th & 1 call was inexcusable. Also, I've never seen a worse performance by a punt team, and the wide receivers dropped too many passes with the game on the line.
For the Ole Miss fans, if that's the kind of crap you've had to put up with since September, then I sincerely feel for you. Y'all don't deserve what I saw today.

Orgeron-Boone-Khayat
It seems to me that Pete Boone is Moe, Khayat is Larry, and Orgeron is Curly.
Boone the AD, seems the dominant character in play right now and he is in full tilt "save my own a** mode." Unless Khayat starts listening to the fans and alumni, O probably stays one more year. I know it's hard to believe anyone can be so ignorant as to want and keep this buffoon O, but that seems to be likely, unless, the *Greens really lay the pressure on Khayat and the college board.
*wealthy alumni, and I ain't one of them.

Well, if you need a bright side to this, at least the entire board and southeast can finally see with their own eyes that what Jay and I and others have been saying for months now needs to happen. Fire Boone and Coach O. This game solidified it. What a pathetic, incompetent, ignorant, moron of a coach and AD. I say we take them both to the guillotine. Off with their frigin heads!

Orgeron needed to be fired before he boarded the team bus for the return trip to Oxford. Jay 1, I agree with you, punt the football! Ole Miss is ahead 14-0! Why take a chance and give State a short field? Well this is what happened, they took advantage, and just like that they caught fire. And what was with all this rugby punting? Orgeron is going to be around next year? God help us....please Lord help us. And receivers dropping the ball didn't help, no it didn't. Orgeron's the head coach, why don't he put somebody on the field that can catch the ball or teach the ones that can't catch the ball to catch the damn thing? Orgeron's an idiot, Boone's and idiot, and Khayat is wrong for letting these two fools hang around! I've been an Ole Miss fan since 1958. This is by far the worst time for Ole Miss football that I can remember. It's sickening.

Congratulations on your monumental victory today MSUBULLY. I was very happy for Coach Croom and Adam Carlson, a coast boy. With State's win today the Bulldogs now have 39 all time victories to Ole Miss' 59 wins, and the two have played to 6 ties. In the battle for the Golden Egg, with the win today the Maroon's have had the egg on 22 occations while the Rebels have owned it 53 times. There have been 5 ties fighting for the egg. The Rebs are 20-11-3 against the Dogs in Starkville. So the way I see it, the only way State has a chance to catch up with the Rebels in victories is if Orgeron remains as Ole Miss' coach. And by the way GO TO HELL STATE!!!!!!

Well this MSUBULLY guy is not to blame. He is out of himself becaue his crapy, boring and average team managed to beat the Ole Miss. To win this game has been their main goal for about 100 years now. Lost everything else on and off the field but focused on beating Ole Miss. This has become their main goal in their life and yet their record is a negative one against us. What i am trying to say though is that we really should thank those clowns orgeron and boone to pull us that low that EVEN a desperate MSU fan who actually never had something to cheer about in his entire life gets the opportunity to talk trash on an Ole Miss board.
Hell let this ship not go down entirely. This athletic program has a reputation to lose, Ole Miss is a 3 time national champion, its history is rich, it simply doesnt deserve to be in such a sorry state to allow MSU fans to dare coming here and open up their mouth. We need to make sure, they know who they are and who we are. Ole Miss has always been the Nr.1 in this state and some times even in the whole country. Its a tradition, its the way things HAVE to be in Mississippi. Fire Orgeron and Boone. Faster please

Ain't it great to be 0 - 8. This "average" MSU team will be going bowling in about 35 days while Ole Piss stays at home and sleeps on their stolen pillows. There's no way you can spin that and make yourself feel better about your team. Orgeron for Heisman!!!

You hope that State will be bowling. With possibly four 7-5 teams in the SEC, State is by far the worst draw of the bunch. Arkansas has a Heisman candidate, Bama has Saban, and South Carolina has Spurrier. State has the black guy which may be enough to beat out the other three.

I think Rick Cleveland and Rusty Hampton should take your post and hammer you for it. There's no way there's something bigger than Ole Miss-State. It can't be Ole Miss-LSU or State-Bama.
Ole Miss is at it's lowest point, and still it took all State could do, at Starkville, in it's Super Bowl season to beat us. If that is the thing you need to brag about go for it, but remember this. We will be getting better in a few years, and you won't. So enjoy the year and get ready to return to the bottom, your normal home, in a year or two.
We have six SEC championships and three National championships and you guys beat Ed Orgeron, Hmmmmm, I think I'll take the championships.

We have a great football history, and, you have FAILURE, occasionally mixed with a year or two of success. Your obvious jealousy is not very attractive nor useful. Just learn to live with being second best. It's who you are. Surely you are accustomed to it by now.

We won the west in 2003, tied with LSU, same record, they got the tie breaker and played in the championship game. 1999 huh, well good luck for the next century.
By the way the west and east didn't exist back in the 50's and 60's. There was only one conference, NO DIVISIONS.
Eli and Peyton are both playing pro football and making millions of dollars, and who is playing pro football at quarterback from State?
And your national championships, when were they? :laugh:

Yeah, I don't understand these state fans coming out of the woodworks and trying to insult Ole Miss. I have been pulling for them all year and the only time I haven't was the Egg Bowl. I wanted State to go bowling, just to represent the great state of MS. But with jacka$$'s like this, it makes it easy to do a 180 very quickly.
The fact is, you guys beat an Ole Miss team that is at it's lowest point in many, many years, if not the lowest ever, and y'all just wanna throw salt in the wound over a game that was decided by one moron's unprofessional, senseless decision? What could make you so proud of that? Is it that y'all beat us, a team that's not nearly as good as KY, AU, etc. and yet, you wanna talk about how you beat US, mighty Mississippi? I know it's a rivalry and all, but this is just classless. It's times like these that seperate us as Ole Miss fans from you true MSU rebel haters; we have class, y'all have, well, no class.
I salute what your team has accomplished, but I am disgusted by the way you all have chosen to celebrate it.
